if the brazil teams lose they go to lower round 1, if fnatic win this and lose against sen they will go to lower round 2, brazil play 1 less game then them but losing will take them to the same spot. also its all randomized other then sen liquid and i think vikings so it was just unlucky for fnatic.
Ok now look at HS% of TL/FNC players and then look at HS% of KRU players lol, and it's not just one example, it's been going forever like this
KRU is worse both mechanically and tactically, if you believe that they have a chance in this match you are either biased or stupid
FNC should win under normal conditions but as the tournament PCs are not good they will not be able to show their best performance unlike KRU because in latam we do not have the best hardware so this will not affect them so I could rather say that it will become a advantage for this team
Maybe he does not let me understand well, I wanted to say that sadly due to our precarious economic situation in Latam at the beginning they probably did not use very good pcs but rather I could assure you that they played in calculators for a long time so they have an advantage over other players because they They did not use good PCs for most of their career, unlike European teams.
i'm worried about fnatic's lack of LAN experience. Literally 4/5 players in the team are teenagers with not much previous pro experience and Boaster was only in the UK cs scene. They should still win this though
also fnatic aren't scrimming any of the teams in iceland except liquid which could hurt them (or benefit them)
I think the point of LAN is, besides having 0 ping, to let the fans see live reactions of players after they make a play. I know they inserted a little cam on the right beside the agents, but I would like the production cast to switch to the players' face after they make a play. Just like other esports do (LoL, csgo, etc...) Just imagine seeing TenZ, ScreaM, any other great player getting 3K, 4K, or ACE and not showing their faces to the audience? Feels kinda off doesn't it?
Just saying though, each team deserves their spot in Iceland. They don't make it? They'll have to do better next Challengers. Do not belittle other teams' effort and journey just because your favourite team didn't make it. If you think Gambit or any team should make it instead of KRU or any other minor teams, Then it's just the regional differences. Gambit failed to beat Fnatic? Then be it. That's the EMEA for you. You probably know how close the region is relative. KRU fought tooth and nail by beating Infinity? Then that's LATAM. A whole set of challenges and differences that each team needs to overcome.
And it's still not a reason to put down each team and change them with another just because the said team lost to the ones that eventually qualified. There are the winners and the losers. There are the ones that qualified, and the ones that are watching from their home/team setups. That's how it is.
Wow what a logic dude...
One can give EMEA 1 slot and Japan 5 slots, and say "There are the ones that qualified, and the ones that are watching from their home/team setups. That's how it is." Why not lol.
Maybe Riot should think about providing more opportunities for EMEA in the future VCT events, because what we are going to see at this event will tell a lot about which regions are dominant, and which are weak.
And I have no doubt that Liquid / Fnatic will finish on top, Gambit would too, if only there were 3 spots.

There will be dominant and weak regions. That's the nature of esports and competition as long as the concept existed. I have hope that RIOT will learn from Reykjavik and make some changes for the next Challengers/Masters. What you said is ridiculous and you know RIOT will never let that happen. But me and you aren't RIOT.
And I'm not sure if that's your EU bias is showing, but man you've been on a roll with these comments. You're just salty that Gambit lost to Fnatic and didn't make it to Masters, didn't you?
