EU is 2-0 against NA in the most important tournament of the year
3 EU teams have already topped their groups and advanced to playoffs
where is NA? LUL
what's even funnier is that in half of the NA team wins, the EU team completely choked and should have won with ease. Even in the game that Liquid beat Sentinels and Fnatic beat C9, they almost had massive chokes

I wouldn't be surprised if they lose to KRU like steel said
probs meant 1.6 players that switched to val
ayyyy man how did you like ireland? did you go to belfast?
you clearly have no idea what you are talking about
also... "aimlab gridshot to osu" LMAO
explain how tenz is better than them overall please
nats, cned and scream are better than both of them anyway
Pretty crazy to think how he created SUMN FC by looking around random discord servers etc (with lots of people not even wanting to trial for his team) and created what is known by today as Fnatic despite being basically a nobody a year ago
cNed (Jett)
ScreaM (secondary duelist, Sage)
Dapr (Cypher/Killjoy, Viper)
Vanity (Astra/Omen, IGL)
Lakia (Sova)
he said "there is more strong EU teams than NA teams"
which means that EU has more good teams compared to NA. did you not listen?
if you're going through a content drought then there's no one else better to watch other than the content king himself, tarik
imagine having Zellsis in your top 5 rofl.
Also having Derke above cNed is questionable
reminding you that both Shahzam and Tenz say that EU has a lot more good teams than NA
valorant isn't even released in china yet
I feel like Faze need to pick up a good IGL
I know but they're still building around Lowel who is one (if not the) best sages in the world and also a top IGL so they could still be a top team imo
I wrote this in another thread but
S tier: Sentinels
A tier: Heretics, Acend, FPX, Fnatic, Gambit, 100 Thieves, Envy etc.
A- tier: Liquid, C9, Version1, Faze, G2, NiP, Guild, BDS, Nuturn, Vision Strikers (maybe) etc.
B tier: NRG, XSET, GenG, Vikings, KRU, Vitality, Alliance, Immortals etc.
This is ignoring the recent roster shuffles going on in EU. The new G2 or Heretics could theoretically be much better (or worse)
I feel like Sentinels and Fnatic are surprisingly even in terms of their level as teams, but Sentinels has a lot more experience and a better mental than Fnatic hence have the upper edge in terms of closing out maps. In every single map these 2 teams have played it has went into OT or 13-10 / 13-11.
Acend lost 0-2 to Vitality, but both maps went into overtime. You can directly compare it to Sentinels losing to Andbox 0-2. Both teams are the best in their region, but one region had double elimination in challengers 2 while Acend got eliminated immediately
I'd be really sad to see any of the UK guys go considering how much work they've put in and due to the fact that they're actually good players, but I would fucking love to see Scream and Nivera in the same team. 2 amazing players who are brothers at the same time. It would be amazing for the brand of the Liquid valorant team while also signing an insane talent
I really want to see the best teams + players from each region qualify
So from EU I (currently) want to see: Acend, Heretics, FPX, Fnatic (maybe the new G2 roster > Heretics but not too sure)
from NA then: Sentinels, 100T, Envy/C9
Korea: Vision Strikers/Nuturn
Brazil: I just want to see Gamelanders qualify to see Mwzera on an international stage
S tier: Sentinels
A tier: Heretics, Acend, FPX, Fnatic, Gambit, 100 Thieves, Envy etc.
A- tier: Liquid, C9, Version1, Faze, G2, NiP, Guild, BDS, Nuturn, Vision Strikers (maybe) etc.
B tier: NRG, XSET, GenG, Vikings, KRU, Vitality, Alliance, Immortals etc.
This is a rough idea of how I think the teams would rank up with each other
I would rate FPX, Heretics and Acend as the top 3 teams but I wouldn't say that FPX is top 1 due to how often they choke in important games
It's not even that. This guy doesn't realise that Nuturn revamped their comps and that Fnatic had to play 2 BO3 series in a row on LAN which is seriously mentally taxing and shouldn't be happening in the first place. Also Fnatic had to play Nuturn on Ascent which is seemingly their best map
You seem to be severely lacking in braincells
EU has more depth in terms of teams than NA so it makes complete sense. Also EMEA encompasses CIS and Turkey. If Sentinels win this tournament it doesn't necessarily mean that NA is the best overall region as Sentinels have proved themselves to be a level ahead of any other NA team
And Derke plays Sova on Bind which will hence affect his first bloods and ADR + ACS yet he still has better stats.
Why don't you actually look at the stats that you posted? Derke has a higher ADR than Tenz and also has more First Bloods per round which shows that he is performing his role as entry fragger better than Tenz. The fact that Tenz has a lower ADR yet has more kills per round just shows that he farms eco rounds more, which you would know if you watch Tenz play - the man loves farming eco frags
Not in the world. But in this tournament, then maybe. I personally rate cNed higher than Derke
They impressed me too. It's nice too see Korea doing good
that's like saying that Andbox is better than Sentinels because they beat them 2-0 in Challengers 2 or BBG is better than Sentinels. You can't make such conclusions based on a single series, especially when it was Liquid's first game on LAN with quite inexperienced players other than Scream and Jamppi
I want to see teams like the new G2, Heretics, Acend, FPX etc compete against NA. I also want to see 100T, C9 and NV play against EU teams.
I personally think EU has a larger depth of good teams compared to NA while Sentinels could be the best team in the world. However, if Fnatic manage to beat Sentinels tomorrow then I'll be slightly disappointed as Sentinels are by far the best team in NA currently while you couldn't say the same about Fnatic
Neth, Jammyz, Boaster, Scream and idk who else. I'd say Neth is probs no. 1 tho
if sentinels win tomorrow then
Sentinels > NA = EU > Other regions
Sentinels are by far the best team in NA while you wouldn't be able to say that about Fnatic in EU as teams like FPX, Heretics and Acend also exist. Sentinels has also had more time to prepare than Fnatic in Iceland yet still had 2 very close maps against them despite winning 3/4 pistols
If Sentinels win tomorrow then
Sentinels > EU = NA > KR > BR > LATAM / SEA /JP
if not then
EU = NA > KR > BR > LATAM / SEA / JP
Sentinels are heads and shoulders above the other teams in NA hence Sentinels doesn't fully represent NA as a region. Meanwhile Liquid nor Fnatic haven't won any tournaments in EU and are arguably not the very best teams within the region as EU has a large amount of good teams, though had worse formatting in the qualification process for Iceland
if NA had the same formatting as EU then Sentinels wouldn't have qualified for Iceland as they lost 0-2 to Andbox in Challengers 2.
japanese players dont give a shit about ranked + they were playing with their coach
meanwhile sentinels seemed to be tryharding with tenz dropping like 35 kills
and... it's a ranked game
my sleep schedule is messed up atm due to severe jet lag
i'm worried about fnatic's lack of LAN experience. Literally 4/5 players in the team are teenagers with not much previous pro experience and Boaster was only in the UK cs scene. They should still win this though
also fnatic aren't scrimming any of the teams in iceland except liquid which could hurt them (or benefit them)
I like the way you're being downvoted even though Tenz literally said that overall EU teams >>> NA teams
EU is overall a much better region than NA, but Sentinels can probably compete with / beat top EU teams
Shahzam as a top aimer? He may be a good opper though he isn't a top aimer...
Maybe
I prefer playing csgo to valorant as there's less things going on in the game and it's nice to just sit back and tap heads + the csgo movement and grenades etc are also much more fun imo. Though Valorant is more fun to watch currently, feels like each round is more eventful and there's more interesting things going on in its pro scene
A lot of IGLs can play different roles and agents... that doesn't make Shahzam special lol
Top 4. I feel like Liquid, Fnatic, Sentinels and Vikings are looking like the top teams going into Iceland with teams like Nuturn and Sharks having the greatest upset potential. I also wouldn't be surprised if Version1 do decent and wouldn't call out CR and X10 either. It's going to be exciting no matter what happens
