steel joined 100 Thieves after the team underwent a rebuild in August 2020 following a string of disappointing tournament results. After the rebuild process was completed, the team found their first tournament win in First Strike: North America, where they defeated TSM, who at the time were considered one of North America's best teams.
After that win, the team remained a part of North America's upper echelon of teams, but were unable to find another first place finish until Stage 2 Challengers 1, in April. The closest 100 Thieves have gotten to claiming another first place finish in a tournament was the Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, where the team placed second, losing only to Sentinels in the Upper Final and Grand Final.
Recently, the team finished in 3rd-4th place at Masters: Berlin, capturing thrilling wins over Gambit Esports in the group stage and Acend in the Quarterfinals, proving to the world that their many years of LAN experience from CS:GO was not something to be taken lightly.
According to the report, b0i will be replacing steel in the active lineup. b0i was released from Andbox in May, and hasn't been seen in an official match since late April. In early July, he quietly joined the team as a sub.
