Sexism is a big part. Many talented females or females with potential talent don't want to compete, because of the sexism they experience by being a woman playing video games.

One game isn't definitive of a whole scene, but C9W did not perform against them, true. Each tournament they play, they improve in placing and ranking, and need a lot of time to get skill comparable to men's teams, understandably.

What? Did you look at their roster? All of them are solid t2 players. And womens teams are improving every tournament they play, this is the farthest C9W, and any women's valorant team has gotten in a VCT tournament yet

worse competition, sexism leads to less talent pool, and the female esports scene is at least a decade behind esports as a whole
