I unfortunately am fully retired from doing that and just writing overall but it was fun to do it while I was still involved in esports in my own way
the process for doing roster transactions is a manual one and isn't automatically done when an article is published
it's fixed now though
it was a morph of a previous name I went by online (Hudsyn)
also my irl name is not hudsen or hudson
feel free drop the info in a support ticket and I or another mod will investigate at some point
Not sure how you think any of those are valid reasons but I guess I'll answer
1) If someone knowingly damages their reputation what good does it to give them a clean slate to possibly do it all over again while knowing there are no consequences to it all?
2) I'm curious what actual "advice" would be gained by asking a forum audience that's generally seen as not having good takes on things because the people and minds that are involved in the competitive sphere generally have their own cliques/groups of others that are also like them
3) if you want a name change we can make it happen but too many people have abused the concept of "I'm going to make a funny named user account to try and make it seem like it's not actually me"
4) Not a valid reason--if you're at that point mentally it's time to log off and go outside
5) There's not a march madness-style prize for pickems it's not that serious
If it wasn't clear before: don't use alts. If there's someone you want to get mad at for that, it's people like nihso (or insert another person's name here that's been perma'd) that thinks the rules don't apply to them.
why do you need more than one account to post on a valorant forum website?
They say that politics are not allowed, but ppl can spew transphobic right-wing brainrot.
Please report users that are posting these sorts of things. If you do report it we can't guarantee that someone will absolutely be banned since context needs to be considered but there are too many posts and threads that are made each day for all of them to be vetted but it'll at least be seen by a mod or admin.
Would y’all ever consider an appeal if he promised to be good🥺
lol
we try to but just banning other accounts that have some IP matches can mean a bunch of people that haven't done anything wrong may get wrapped up in it
short answer yes but afaik pretty much all websites you visit will track/keep a record of your ips
"seemingly little reason"
surely creating over a dozen alt accounts to ban evade fits the bill right?
Not sure if the analytics back it up but short-form content seems like it might be slowly starting to push out longer-form content when it comes to total watch time
I know that I personally spend a gross amount of time and have been actively trying to consume less short-form content in general since 2 videos can become 2 hours of mindless scrolling before I know it
Please don't make/post on alts, the (bad) people that do make alts to come on here and just say racist things are enough of a headache as is
I'd also be willing to bet some of those same people's actions are why there have been other negative threads broadly stating "this site has fallen off" or some variation of that
unfortunately you never know sometimes
to say the mods were protecting him might be the furthest thing from the truth
I used to be big on bourbon but as of late rum has been my go-to
The answer has been in the site rules the whole time
anyone can please the mods by not doing things that would be in violation of the site's rules :)
I'd say no since it's been an active thread that's gotten a steady amount of replies to keep it relevant
but like commenting on a news article that hasn't had any new comments for 5 months would be considered necroing
technically that can be considered necroing because it was a 4-month old thread 🗿
degeneracy on the forums is nothing new but having to go into the weeds because of people openly admitting to breaking site rules is a bit less than ideal
now all that's left is for me to bill the VLR shadow government for working overtime
I can't believe this is how I'm spending my sunday night
stuff has been sorted out
tyvm to everyone that reported, please continue to report others that make weird posts or do other stuff against site rules
most VLR users have virtually no chance to become a mod if that's what their intentions are
If posting bad takes was actually bannable the amount of active users on the site would be at least cut in half, maybe more
They must have changed their twitter @ and it was just never updated
For now I've removed it
this is being looked into since there seems to have been a mixup with how it was formatted
sorry about that
it got unbroken fixed recently
^^ basically this
we're not going to force people to use the US flag if they don't want to if they live in the states or deny a request to have another flag displayed because people with multiple nationalities as their family background is very common--I myself am actually half Panamanian but I have my flag as the US one out of choice
also we don't have half and half flags like some other sites
The match page info that gets put on the site only includes the 10 players that played in it and not coaches in coach slots, so all that is really displayed is the teams the staff members were on
finally a fellow root beer enjoyer in this thread
Site DMs have been broken for a bit
Unsure if the feature is being axed or is a lower-priority fix for the devs
Not as far as I'm aware
We've got a line of communication open with the people at Riot but it's not used for anything related to things on the site
DM me on the site and I'll help you out (assuming DMs still aren't broken)
far too often the threads posted complaining about things related to mods are skewed (as in specific details are left out relating to something that happened) or they're just full of nonsense--sometimes both--and it would be counterproductive to respond
I'm different though :)
Site discussion, off topic, and general discussion are subforums meant for completely different types of discussion
although it's understandable that there'd be confusion, you've been warned multiple times about it already
We must always recognize the works of 🐔 Joe
I have betrayed my region...
the only problem now is the title doesn't fit all on one line
thank you for pointing it out though <3
maybe it's just when I went but I thought kreuz in lockhart was better overall
I wouldn't call it bad by any stretch of my imagination but the difference might honestly just be taste preference
Not really sure if it counts as a hidden gem place since I'm more familiar with bbq than the average person but Tejas Chocolate and BBQ in northwest Houston is a place that I've been to and really enjoy
Another place is Killen's in Houston but I haven't been there personally
maybe among people not familiar with bbq but it's certainly one of the top places that people go to for good food
