Sometime during Champs, potter and jawgemo had this dope handshake pre-match
It was like a fist bump and a salute or something. Clips if ya know, I can't find it

Went to a taquería yesterday and ordered a burger (although the fact that a taquería serves burgers is pretty KKona of them as well)
FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST : Evil Needle

Will LOUD be onstage?
Hit em with it
IDK about SEN specifically, but surely he becomes a coach somewhere in NA
Man I missed the weed
Oh well
1000 incoming
EDIT: holy crap I actually am 100% the weed waiter... I'm about to get drug tested for a new job so I haven't been smoking lately
Some people apparently wake up every day and ask themselves, "what can I do to be an insufferable edgelord today"
Bump. I'll be back for the weed
Flair checks out but I feel like NV/Optic fans are pretty chill. I've only ever seen one person with an NV/Optic flair who was being a pain in the ass
This team isn't as good as C9 tbh
Yeah I left right when babyJ joined the call. This is just some weird reality TV shit
I agree, I'm not suggesting massive changes. But adding another circuit, even one that's secondary to VCT, would be sick.
But Riot also definitely is very particular about their product so this is easier said than done
That's not really the point.
Point is, more events that matter
NGL it's tough to stay engaged in VAL esports when the professional ecosystem is so lacking in events
Hard to be invested in teams when you know they'll just disband if they screw up one qualifier
There needs to be another meaningful series (or multiple) that makes teams want to work on their long-term chemistry
Can we get something like an EPL or BLAST?
But also maybe the problem is the instability of the meta. Does the game change so often that teams don't even get to work on their long-term chemistry?
Kids like watching cracked aimers. Surely that doesn't come as a surprise
But yeah his stream is a bit of a snooze
Super entertaining match. Wardell's impact was insane
OK I'm def cappin if we're talking about the quitting in a few weeks part. I'd take the job and make the best out of it. I'm sure I'm not the only VLR user that complains about org misbehavior who would nonetheless snap up a job opportunity with those same orgs if it meant a career in the industry
Any player who signs with 100T in the future is probs thinking something similar
Probs didn't get it tbh, but if I do I might move to LA and work there a few weeks and then resign abruptly
Surely they wouldn't mind
I'm sorry but wth is 100T doing
Don't get me wrong, the chemistry didn't look fantastic in their recent team vids with the new squad, but this feels awfully premature
That's actually super sick
NA support for young esports athletes has been lagging behind other countries/regions. This will help
Yes I'm aware, had forgotten this when I posted the comment
Fair point, Optic's branding is still worse tho
I agree that NV's branding looks better, but I think the most important thing is that the players are backed by an org that's actually invested in the roster's success. If NV didn't believe they had the wherewithal or desire to support this roster at this point, best that they transferred them.
EDIT: forgot that NV and OpTic merged
We don't deserve Potter yall
Find me a better mix of wholesomeness, kindness, and occasional, well-timed brutal honesty
Thanks friend, seeya in Tarik's stream <3
Best compliment I've received in awhile tbh
Content king all day
TenZ is OK, obviously massively skilled gamer, just not as good of a stream personality as Tarik
Shaz is too loud for my boomer ears
No plans to watch Sinatraa at any point
Is 3 Bo3's in one day a lot?
Yes.
Is this what they signed up for?
Yes.
"the rest of the world sucks"
Most KKona shit I've ever heard
Have you seen the vast number of comments you've posted on this thread? Which of us is working harder here?
Don't act like this was all bait just because you don't have a good logical comeback. That's just poor form.
It's kind of goofy that you'll get [some] EU fans all like "OTHER REGIONS AREN'T PROFITABLE" as an excuse for not supporting them, and then get mad when an esport realizes it has profitable markets outside of EU.
the above is equivalent to a short blog post at worst. if you're unwilling to read, you're unwilling to inform yourself, which means your opinion is poorly founded and therefore invalid.
Look at the massive list of partner teams for each CS tournament and say that. More than half of the ESL Pro League teams are partnered orgs with ESL and will never lose their spot regardless of what roster they field, even if they're bad.
It has very little to do with quality of skill and everything to do with available funding for paying off TOs.
....that is literally what CS is, but for EU
Ya'll literally do the same exact shit
And I tend to not watch much of American sports, for reasons including the one you mentioned. I thought it was an American thing, but turns out I'm wrong, EU does it too. You're helping to prove that's the case.
Take a look at my comment below. This NA brain is doing pretty well, actually. EU high level gameplay is fun, sure, but not nearly as good as truly international high level gameplay + international storylines
I will correct you on your attempted correction if you don't mind, but first I'll remind you that starting off condescending, and then going immediately into name calling, is the worst way possible to get someone to agree with you.
Your desire to see what you believe to be the "highest level of gameplay" is less important as Riot's need to ensure their esport thrives. That will never change, and your opinion as a single EU viewer is no more important than the desires of an SEA, APAC, KR, etc. viewer. If you leave because of "bad tournament slot distribution", there'll be a fan from another region to take your place because their region was actually meaningfully represented and they were actually excited about it, instead of getting pissed because your region didn't get half of the tournament slots. Remember, it's a privilege to be in a region where you can decide which team to be a fan of, instead of being saddled with one decent team for your whole region (see NA CS during 2021).
Also remember that the EU fanbase does not dominate VAL like it does in CS, so Riot has far less of a reason to cater specifically to the EU fanbase. Not only that, the EU fanbase has very little room for revenue growth since CS dominates the region's tac FPS viewership, so it's advantageous for Riot to invest in other regions more.
If I rephrase your thoughts in a less malicious fashion, and I recalibrate it to actually represent the competitive level of the smaller regions, this is what we get:
"I would rather watch a tournament with 12 of the 25 best teams in the world, instead of the actual top 12 teams in the world, if it means that each region gets to send multiple teams"
International tournaments are what we're talking about after all, yes?
EU already gets the vast plurality of slots, I'm amazed you're complaining when the esport could literally die in a year or two in some of these smaller regions/regions that don't play as much tac FPS as EU.
Depends on who you're asking. I can, but who knows about the 'average' American
