6 MAN DOES NOT WORK IN TACTICAL SHOOTERS. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME ON LAN THIS HAS HAPPENED.
https://www.vlr.gg/post/13011/t1-part-with-brax-and-azk 7-months ago if you objectively watch his IMPACT on the map, there are far better alternatives and his contract finally ended...
So happy VS is in Masters this time!
Can someone please explain why KR only gets one representative? VS and NUTURN are so insanely good, it's a shame KR is only allowed to send one team.
Seeding matches don't matter, please change the format.
This will be a great match, win or lose, there is so much good that comes from a matchup like this.
100% agree. In a best-case scenario, he becomes assistant coach for 100T and Brax takes his role instead.
2-0 100T with Hiko and Nitr0 making a 2v5 clutch play.
This... Brax simply did not renew his contract. No doubt AZK was given a shorter term that ended on the same date as Brax. Brax needs to find a team solo.
Why is Nerd St the only organiser that demands teams play for seeding? Every other region stops at qualifying (Ro.8). It's clear seeding doesn't matter given the outcome of First Strike. It's unfair to the players and audience, it's not worth using real tactics and showing your hand which isn't good viewership either given this is a TACTICAL FPS.
Shadow and Meddo were a package deal. The only logic I can see behind this is that Shadow will be next and Meddo was simply signed earlier. Meddo is a great player, I just don't understand any other reason...?
3/4 "Top Seeds" from the Open Qualifier didn't even progress far enough in this Close Qualifier. Seeding doesn't even matter and that's evident enough xD What a waste of pros time, can't even scrim/practice executes without exposing tactics to other teams.
3/4 "Top Seeds" from the Open Qualifier didn't even progress far enough in this Close Qualifier. That alone proves that "seeding" is an excuse for the tournament organisers to milk pro players for more content. by forcing them to play more matches after they have qualified.
tldr; They should have stopped the tournament once teams had qualified for the main event.
It's unfair on the teams to be forced into that position. Let them qualify and be done with it. Don't force them to continue on because the tournament organisers want more content when there is zero benefits to the teams, in fact showing more tactics is an even bigger disadvantage than any seeding can give.
It's clear having watched the first Open Qualifier, the qualifier should have stopped at Top 16. There's no reason to show your hand when you have already qualified for the tournament.
Again with Top 4 coming up next week, teams will have made it to the main event, etc, and won't show any more tactics.
Lockdown, Swarm into 2K retake on A was pretty clutch.
Yes! I cannot wait for Solo/Duo queue at Immortal+
Awesome! I enjoyed the write up, it just sounded like no kiwis were having a crack at the competitive scene. Great to hear there are some.
Is there no New Zealand players representing Oceania?
ShadoW consistently makes far too many mistakes. Shao is improving, but ShadoW definitely needs a lot of attention/work from the team/analyst/coach. The rest of the team is incredible.
Really excited for this match!
