Why don't EDG drop s1mon, he is the worst player on the team and not even the IGL. He averaged a 0.89 KD in champions often going double negative. This year so far he has averaged a 0.90 KD during Kickoffs and Masters Bangkok. People cope by saying he has great util, but this isn't diamond, there are players at the tier 1 level who have as good util as him AND can shoot. When you're at the highest levels you have to do both. I don't understand why EDG should bear his deadweight when he isn't even the IGL. The mentality that Masters/Champs winners shouldn't make changes is the exact reason why many teams fall off after winning an event. I think EDG should drop s1mon even if they win Bangkok.

He has great assist util , can clutch in the worst moments , he is bad when peeking an angle true but when simon gets peeked he doesnot miss
and EDG are still #1 in the world IDK why the other players and coaches would have problem with this

There is more to team line ups than just kd alone, they have team synergy and there is no reason to mess it all up cause their could be better players out there. Plus his kd doesn't always represent his skill, his round impacts are what keeps him a good player even with a slightly negative kd.
Think about what happened with C9 when they replaced xeta with curry, they lost all synergy and they fell apart while they were at their absolute peak

S1Mon puts his team in winning position. Muggle, EDG's HC, said that S1Mon is very commanding on how he uses utility which is why EDG can play it off his util so well. S1Mon had the most assists and apr in china and theres a reason for that

He plays breach kayo. Most of his util will be to help KK and you dont understand how hard it is to be a fragging breach or kayo. Most of the round until your util is finished you play by supporting your duelist or second entry. Then after wards you play post by again assisting with util to disrupt their flood. And simon currently is one of the best at that.

Instead of writing bullshit just go watch the 2024 champions assist stats he has ....

It's not a ranked lobby tho is it. Not everyone needs to have a really great K/D. Some people keep the vibes up, make the other players better or make great calls. And even if not, when you have a guy like KangKang who often wins first blood and has plenty of multikill rounds, you don't need to be the one getting the frags, you're just there for clean up in the late round. S1mon is a good example of that as he had multiple important clutches at champs.
