except for the fact that EMEA had nothing noteworthy last year. The only good team from EMEA last year was heretics and even they choked twice. Where as for PAC GENG looked great at madrid and shanghai and won one of them. PRX got top 3 and top 6 and only lost out to the eventual champions and a strong G2. Also DRX looked very good at champs as well.
xD are we forgetting that EMEA hasnt had a major trophy in close to 2 years? and PAC has now had 3 masters in a row and CHN has the other trophy which is champs.

I have tho xD. I think Icebox is boring asf. Ascent has some of the most memorable moments ever. Same with Lotus the calling and insane fights and retakes are great. Sunset was the worst map ever until the changes to B site which actually made the map fun to play and fun to watch. Breeze is an amazing map and I have no idea why people hate it. Same with fracture. Bind would be good but the more you watch it the more boring it gets. Haven has been in the map pool but hasnt been picked much at all.

I dont think many PRX fans expected to win EWC and I dont think many of us are even mad we lost. I think the ragebaiting from the EMEA frauds just get to us. Especially considering they are a one team region.

Personally I think It has to do with Team Chem. When the 2024 roster played. Tenz was behind Zekken always fighting together and helping him a lot. So was sacy. Bang imo is an amazing player but does not have the same impact Tenz had when it comes to helping enable Zekken.

no hate but only reason they made every LAN is because they played in China. China nowadays is good but 2022 -2024 they were not and EDG were just the best of the worst region. Sure champs was amazing but you need to remember OPTIC were good under the ENVY banner also. And the team just broke up. That doesnt take away anything from how good the team was

But they were good in 2021 and 2022 and the team just disbanded. The core further made it back with NRG having an okay 2023 losing lock in to LOUD and a top 4 at tokyo. Sure its the not the same org but they for sure deserve the 5th place and shouldnt be a Consolation prize. Also you say EDG deserve a shout when they have been ass at the international stage for all but 2 events.
OPTIC was 2nd place at Masters Berlin. Won Iceland, Shouldve won Champs Istanbul but got 2nd. They for sure deserve the spot xD
I respect everything except for the acend pick. Lets be totally honest here. That Acend champs run was the most fluke run of all time. None of the players on that team are even in T1 anymore and GMB shouldve won champs 100%. Everything else makes sense and can be genuinely argued for
