I mean it wouldn't suprise me that meL, alexis, and flor make like 100k. SR obv loses money (like every org) but they make sure that they stay the #1 GC team in NA both in results and fan support. Gives shopify good PR and if GC grows a bunch somehow then they are in a good position to gain new fans

i agree with this. the community is def too soft especially when talking about trash talk and what not, but i think that suicide jokes are something that should be avoided by orgs/companies/other big accounts. I mean i've dealt with a lot of depression/suicidal thoughts in my life and while I don't find jokes about that stuff offensive or anything I definitely see how it could be hurtful to some.
at the end of the day anybody could be reading a public twitter account so its always good to keep em pretty clean. keep the more offensive/edgy jokes to in person convos with friends that you know are fine hearing them
