Maybe in 2022, afterwards he wasn't top 2 initiator. Also thats unfair to judge of tenz because he switched roles midway through his career. And you could argue that duelist tenz is a top 2 peak.

Being a top player every year has proven to be ridiculously hard. Its unfair to criticize his entire career for a couple down years when he came back afterwards and was fantastic
Its funny how yay is actually underrated by this site. They'll put leo in goat convos but when you actually think about it, he had the same amount of prime years as yay.
Thats why I think this site underrates tenz. He not only had that 1 dominant year, but he also came back and had another impressive year in 2024, proving that 2021 wasn't just a fluke.
He's definitely not a goat candidate, but i think it's ignorant to not put him in a top 10.

Nah, yay had a similar amount of prime years as Leo. It only makes sense for him to be slightly lower than him but barely in the top 10.
I got tenz in my top 10 over sacy, his prime was better than sacy ever was and tenz was great in 2 different eras. Sacy was great in loud but became low-key washed afterwards which gets swept under the rug.

Nah Ethan is slept on. He's washed now, but in 2023 his util was so impactful at both tokyo and champs. He was like a slightly worse leo but on flash initiator.

Its not crazy imo. Pre-franchising he only had 1 lan appearance where they got bounced. And he's been inactive since mid 2024. So he only had like 1 and a half prime years. Kinda under the same boat as yay tbh.
