Thoughts on the situation? TL Bizerra made a comment "I love my GIRLS" after she lost against MIBR and missed out on champs. This was obviously aimed at srN, MIBR star player who almost dropped a 100 nuke on TL and a big reason for MIBR win this match.

Imo it feels like she is just a cry baby waiting to voice her opinion on trans people on GC only after losing to them. Plus, whether you agree or not on trans people on GC actually DOES NOT matter in the slightest. Might it be unfair? Yes, No? Doesn't matter. When a player joins GC they know what they are signing for. You can't sign up on GC knowing you are gonna face trans individuals and agree and keep quiet, but then complain and throw transphobic comments after losing to them like it's unfair and something you weren't notified of. Feels like a sore loser type thing.

I will say, that if it's true, I do think it could change the situation a little. Entering a space that is in essence the "women's circuit," as non-binary, and then being misogynistic. I feel like that would create some pretty justifiable animus where, as a guy, It'd feel really hard to tell the person that they're unjustified feeling that way.

Again, don't know the full story, so talking out of my ass here.

The rules of GC are not relevant. If you're a woman and want a safe space to be able to compete without having to deal with the misogyny that is prevalent in gaming communities, are we really going to say GC shouldn't be that?

Again, I'm not saying that it's empirically right or anything, but I think it's hard to imagine being a woman and competing in a circuit to experience misogyny by someone who doesn't even identify as a woman. Not saying it's right or wrong, just hard to say it's either as a guy.

Pretty much all the top NA GC teams have trans/non-binary players. Just looking at team rosters of the top 8 in NA series 3, I immediately see that at least 5 teams have a trans/non-binary player. The other three might as well but I'm not familiar with those players. So it doesn't make much sense to single out florescent specifically.

while i understand that srn has a complicated past and many people may dont like him (i dont like him at all for many shady reasons), bizerra's tweet was very unfortunate. it ended up also targeting jelly (to me the best player of mibr and a very nice person) which is also trans and never really did anything wrong to anyone. bizerra was one of my favorite players of the GC scene so im very disappointed rn, its just a very messed up thing to do and she should deal better with losing

I don't understand your point? TL won GCBR like 6 consecutive times, including one time against this very same MIBR roster, and they are still winning on head-to-head against this core of players (Sayuri-Srn-Mel, from 00nation to Legacy to MIBR). They were miles better than the entire brazilian scene, including trans people, for a very long time. You're talking like they weren't the all time favorites and like they're suffering some kind of injustice, but that wasn't a problem a few months ago when they were winning. Truth is, they just got worse while MIBR and other teams got better. It happens, deal with it.

I'm not fully convinced her tweet had hateful reasons but assuming that was her intention, it's very unfortunate and disgraceful, transgender ppl and nonbinaries are allowed to compete in gc so any point questioning their participation is very bad. On the other hand, Srn as an individual has a very bad reputation (I don't like Srn either) but it's sad to see how the discussion tends towards transphobic comments and such. I would've preferred to see a tweet about Srn actions or behavior for example, but not invalidating the gender identity.

That has actually happened in LATAM GC before, some dudes have been exposed for pretending to be non-binary. Close friends of them came out saying that they acted like a guy, dressed, spoke like one and even had girlfriends but lied to get a spot. Ofc all of this was discovered after they were no longer in GC bc they weren't even good lol.
