had me until emea
yeahh rossy in sen doesn't make any sense
Yeah, Kr1stal is also a good player. I'm surprised that Liquid didn't want him or anything given the limited market of good IGLs in EMEA
Only one I can agree with is Jemkin
Kazakhs have a shit ton of Visa issues, and due to their high ping in Europe, it's not worth for most team to trial people from there
Something was born in the Asian side of Russia, so he wasn't that far from Japan (when he was playing in Sengoku), so it was actually a better idea if he played in Korea with PRX
he would only be a super star if heretics played better than they did last year (which is really hard)
neT is imo, people only take him as an upgrade from Moose, but that's it. I don't really see that many people thinking he deserves to be in tier 1
jonahp and zander aren't underrated
stopped reading at demon1
c9 roster looking decent for the first time since yay
imo it's asselastia but there's other contenders
benjyfishy is literally the reason why england is relevant in this game
talon wouldn't make that good of a decision
https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/042f509f C9 starts strong but chokes. MIBR going out early. Sentinels will keep their form.
https://www.vlr.gg/event/pickem/2276/champions-tour-2025-emea-kickoff Vitality will dissapoint. NAVI will be better than expected. FUT takes it home. Heretics chokes a grand final again.
I've had this discussion with many people many times, so I will only say that I don't agree
I guess that's fair enough, I'm just surprised he stayed on that roster for so long
This season's G2 was not characterized by individual plays. Leaf is a much better player, but it's not like he was the deciding factor for G2 when they played against a better team.
Icy is because it got leaked by VAL NA's Instagram, but yay is only a trial rn
It would've been probably the same result if they kicked leaf for icy. It's not that icy was better than neT, icy was just a better fit for the system that G2 wanted, and at the same time, they wanted to keep leaf.
So yes, I think it was unfair.
I mean, idk. neT only played in tier 1 for one month in 2024, I think it was unfair for G2 to kick him at the time (especially given the Ascension run they had with him).
I would've gotten yay personally. Buy yeah, apart from yay, there's not that much senti players available in NA rn
RocketBullets leaked on his spreadsheet that neT is trialing with C9.
I know that he has some reputation for not being the most credible source, but he got some NA leaks correct in the past.
Assuming this is true, W? L? or mid?
Personally, I think it's a W but I recognize it could be mid.
idk they do bo5 in some events, but I guess it's just the format they use
when? they lost the two majors this year and boston no?
is this the 3rd time they lose a major grand final?
yikes
Moose will get picked up by a tier 2 team or Apeks. And they can fill in a spot for a team looking to change after kickoff or stage1/2.
And putting the blame fully in C9 is not fair, since Moose really underperformed, and the C9 players didn't want Rossy on the team.
I kinda disagree. I prefer teams with balls like C9 that are willing to drop players if they need to instead of dragging a roster that won't success.
Likewise, I think that Immi did this change for the better, because no teams drops their IGL for no reason. There's something more going on, that's probably why the players don't talk much about it.
Even if he did, my other point still stands. People get dropped, it happens, even if the public thinks it's deserved or not.
The off-season exists for a reason. Dropping Rossy could be considered a troll move if it was after kickoff or in the middle of the season.
I mean, come on, Rossy had one good individual tournament and people were calling him the best player on the team.
I think it's just a simple as Rossy not being a good leader, and not being what C9 was looking for long term.
It is better they realize now and not when it's stage 1
With all respect to Rossy, it's not like any other franchise team was going to pick him up. I'm pretty sure that Cloud9 was the only tier 1 team that made him an offer
He could probably replace another player in other team after kick-off or stage1/2, but yes, it's unlikely. I'm sure that he will probably join M80, or other top contender for tier 2.
I've seen plenty of people wanting him off since Stage 2. But you are right, the Moose hate has been bigger with the off-season
But yeah, C9's roster was weak in general, so I'm not really surprised that Moose was better than Xeppaa, Runi, and Vanity most of the time
