who would be the best?
UK would probably be up there for EMEA ngl. Keiko on duelist, ardiis on flash initiators, soulcas on scan initiators, Boaster IGL and benjyfishy Sentinel. benjyfishy and ardiis mega vibes merchants so they can probably help ease the mood and allow Keiko and soulcas to hit their peak form more often and solve a bit of their inconsistency, plus ardiis and soulcas is a massive step up from Enzo and Jamppi in terms of setup so Keiko would have a lot more help. Then benjyfishy the clutch god, and Boaster the most accomplished IGL in EMEA. And ofc Mini and neilzinho as the coaches to cook some absolute Michelin star setplays. They'd be a scary team
I can name a few countries that are very good and some subs (these are not in order)
(based on 2024 performance so far, so anything can change, but some players are too good to not be placed even if they didnt make shanghai or madrid)
Subs: Cloud, Sheydos, Purp0, jemkin(?), trexx
subs: mwzera, dgzin, tuyz, cauanzin, qck
USA
Canada
subs: zander, nismo, jonahP
subs: buzz, karon, sayaplayer, flashback, beyn, zest, rb
subs: melser, mta
(I'm having a hard time on who to put as duelist but forsaken was an s tier jett neon and yoru player, and he can play raze when needed)
(also xcurrate would fill in any missing role)
subs: blazeking, berserx, ncslasher, fl1pzjder
subs: Mistic, L1nk,
9.Turkiye
subs: riens, qrax, qw1, yetujey
Imo on who would win, probably between USA, Canada, Brazil, and Russia, those are my top 4
Liquipedia has him officially listed as British/Latvian. He is Latvian by blood but grew up in Liverpool so I'd probably say he's more british than latvian but I don't know his latvian side. I mean he talks like a scouse a lot.
This mixed nationality also applies to some players such as nismo (lebanese/canadian) or zekken/cryo (fiipino-american) but where do we draw the line?
You can also say that Marved and TenZ are vietnamese by ethnicity but born and raised in canada.
Sayf is iraqi and was born in iraq but grew up in Sweden.
FNS is tanzanian but grew up in canada
Demon1 is russian but grew up in the US
You could also say som is korean but he grew up in the US
so I'm just going off of loose terms here.
USA - Boostio (IGL), Cryo, Asuna, leaf, trent, Victor (6th man)
C : potter, AC : Zikz
Russia - Kr1stal (IGL), something, Sheydos, Chronicle, nAts, Cloud (6th man)
C : ENGH, AC : pipsoN
South Korea - Munchkin (IGL), t3xture, Meteor, MaKo, Rb, BeYN (6th man)

These would be the top 5 best teams in the world
List of every country that have 3 player in T1 (count is only for T1 player playing in their own region)
Europe
Americas
Pacific
Chinas
So 22 teams, we can push to 24 for having a more balanced schedule (With 24 teams, its easy to qualify 8 teams with a pseudo swiss round, since after 3 round you have 3 teams in 3-0 already qualified and 9 team in 2-1 doing one BO for the 5 remaining places, you can add a team in 1-2 or just autoqualify one team in 2-1), it can be Germany, Spain, Czechia, Australia, Malasya, Colombia (You can also gives 3 spot for the emerging region, that have enough population to have a T1 league, but not enough developpement : India, Middle East, Africa)
Edit : Adding Lituanian player that got replaced
I just want to add (out of pure love to Lithuania and hate to the fact of how underrated she is in Valorant) that Lithuania had 5 players in T1 at the start of the season. (Before Nukkey and Destrian got replaced with purpo and trex)
(and it was BY FAR the highest density of T1 players per country population)
(and it STILL IS BY FAR the highest density of T1 players per country population.)
(For comparison: Turkey would need 78 more players in T1 than it already has to match Lithuania)
Turkey clears most countries in terms of aim. They diff at least 2 players with aim on each country. I dont think theres a single country that has more players with overwhelming aim as compared to them. I guess things can change when you add in calling and game sense though, but their aim is just so freakish that it can just shut down anything you might throw at them. Alfa, Riens, Woot, Yetujey, Cned, even Ata Kaptan and MrFallin can go crazy. Other 5 are more consistently known for their demonic mechanics and plays be it rifling or oping (Cned).
Russia has good bones and an excellent coach, but lack quality IGL's like a lot of the european teams. Sweden is similar.
I'd say the top 3 (100% with some bias) are the USA, Canada and Turkey.
First off, Canada. FNS is still the best IGL to touch this game, I'd give him a roster of Tenz (Primary Smokes), JonahP (Flex), Eeiu (Info Initiator) and I like the Mada duelist. Another bias statement, but T2 NA duelists can 100% hang in tier 1 and I feel Mada is towards the top of those T2 NA duelists. Jusy based on mechanics, that is an upgrade in every position for an FNS team outside of s0m - whom I would say Tenz is at worst a single step below our W stripper.
Next is America, based on a very similar reason. Boostio is another genuine top tier IGL in the game, plain and simple. Give him Zekken, Zellsis, s0m/bang (relative peaks, streamer more consitent peak but bang and boostio are like besties) and trent. Another allstar lineup backed by a top IGL.
I'd just like to reiterate that it isn't just skill that would make these teams work, it's the backbone of those teams and how they flow - the intagibles outside of shooting a gun.
With that being said, my vote is Turkey. Maybe Russia could run no igl, maybe brazil could, blah blah blah. Turkey could run with 4 players and they'd still make top 4.
ALFAJER, WO0T, RIENS, CNED thise four horsemen of the apocalypse would throw FNS back into retirement before you could drop the man a Bilibili classic. Fuck the other countries, fuck my NA bias, these turks CLEAR.
