You would be surprised by the amount of people who still think that GC gets more viewership only because it's "better than tier 2"

posted 23 minutes ago

That is very true too, might fall under promotion tho

posted 26 minutes ago

Saw a post along the lines of how "GC has more viewers than T2" which atp isn't even surprising and wanted to list a bunch of reasons why, some include:

  • The games are streamed on the official valorant twitch/youtube account (compared to tier 2 accounts which have a fraction of the followers/subscribers that the main accounts have)
  • Have way more promotion on the games (for comparison tier 2 has only a fraction of the social media posts that GC has through promotions)
  • Much better production (people are more willing to watch something if they don't need to wait 6 hours for the staff to fix something with production)
  • Has drops (pretty self-explanatory)
  • Every region is included (Most of the time each region's viewers in tier 2 will consist of that region itself instead of GC which is every single region)
  • Better venues (venues in tier 2 look like they are from a random small studio they rented out for cheap while GCC gets an entire arena to play in)
  • Interactive page on Valorant (basically promotion but for everyone even off social media)

The more surprising thing is that even with shit production and promotion, the tier 2 scene is somewhat consistent with the viewership in GCC (at least for last year since this year's GCC hasn't ended yet)

SRG with flor couldn't even get past open qualifiers gang...

KOI would have a SEN Iceland/FNC Tokyo type run in GC Championship

posted 11 hours ago

cs frogs are not touching this game lmao it would've been more common when the game js released

I'm 7-0, duality of man

GE hate is so forced

posted 1 day ago

Are we deadass thinking primmie can speak Korean when he couldn't even speak English well in the 2025 season?

posted 1 day ago

What are we saying "no advantage", SRG literally got to skip the entire open qualifiers that every team had to compete in if they weren't in tier 2 before, also the second time they got in they didn't even qualify they just got invited lmfao 0/8

posted 2 days ago

https://www.vlr.gg/event/2301/challengers-2025-north-america-ace-stage-1/closed-qualifier

I was talking about this incident

But yes they also got in for free basically even when they couldn't qualify because riot needed to fill 2 spots

posted 2 days ago

The gap is not really closing at all it's just that riot is making it easier for GC teams to qualify, like SRG and Flyquest Red were literally invited to play in promotion and didn't have to run through the open qualifiers (btw SRG lost in there before anyways). Also winning a tier 2 game when a team has 2 new players and on top of that are on their worst day isn't an accomplishment at all.

The real thrower of EG

Mods remove his balls

posted 5 days ago

The BBL situation isn't a good example lmfao it literally has workarounds for any of riot's standards and atp it might even get both orgs kicked out of VCT entirely.

posted 5 days ago

Riot is still supposed to make sure they know where an org's funding comes from lmao just look at any saudi team that gets oil money, riot cracks down on them immediately. Blaming it all on the org for even needing to have that ecosystem and riot doing nothing about it is crazy.

posted 5 days ago

Considering chet was trolling victor's roles the entire time he was in tier 2 it should be taken with a grain of salt his overall performance

posted 5 days ago

The roster gets promoted not all of the time will the org get promoted if they don't meet the standards lmao

posted 5 days ago

Stable environment my ass lmfao do you see the amount of financial drama in Americas with budget cuts? Now we have teams from pacific getting dropped for financial issues too and EMEA isn't safe from the pay cuts either. Legit the only region without many problems is China but that's only because they are rich asf and are willing to invest.

posted 5 days ago

And where's the proof that people were complaining? only thing people were complaining about was that there wouldn't be enough Turkish talent to go around nothing about removing the teams lmao

posted 6 days ago

"Please answer the question" lmfao you aren't tuff delusional Korean fan, first of all your statement doesn't even make sense grammatically, and second if the message I'm getting from it is correct there are already two Korean teams since NS got knocked down losing an ascension slot for KR. KR is one country while SEA is 11 get that into your head.

posted 6 days ago

lmao your account is literally made to bait people delusional T1 fan, also you're bringing up random statements after I keep proving your previous ones wrong lmfao.

posted 6 days ago

The argument isn't even on "omg this tier 2 team is better than this tier 1 team" it's about the empty spot that riot needs to fill lmfao but everyone tryna bring up GE and TS for some reason

posted 6 days ago

You're only comeback is "delusional edg fan" lmao get a new insult and stop overusing what I already said, also yes people did think that NS would at least qualify to a single LAN and they weren't even close lmfao.

posted 6 days ago

If SEA was buns apart from PRX then the Korean teams would've beaten them? Also if the current tier 1 Turkish teams did terrible but their tier 2 counterparts did good why is no one complaining about them getting replaced before they ascended?

posted 6 days ago

So Turkey wasn't good at all this year and yet they get 4 slots? make it make sense lmfao

posted 6 days ago

Just a quick reminder that everyone thought NS would be one of the best teams in pacific and they couldn't even make a single LAN

posted 6 days ago

What does this even mean and how does this relate to what is being said?

posted 6 days ago

So then Brazil should get more slots because MIBR did decent at champs? One team doesn't give a reason to make half of the region that subregion lmfao.

posted 6 days ago

Gordon ramsay I already told you to go back to cooking food because you can't cook good baits. Also #8

posted 6 days ago

Why are you following me everywhere it's unnerving

posted 6 days ago

You can literally have

Primmie - Duelist + Sentinel
Laz - Sentinel
Leviathan - Flex
seph1roth - Smokes
Thyy - Duelist

posted 6 days ago

"We need another Korean org/team!!!"

Yall do realize that stage 2 pacific top 3 was all SEA and that stage 1 pacific top 3 was 2/3 SEA and 1/3 KR? The superiority complex ain't registering this information, also T1 literally only got top 4 because they played against a KR team lmfao.

posted 6 days ago

Top 3 in stage 2 of pacific was all SEA btw and top 3 in stage 1 of pacific was 2/3 SEA and 1/3 KR. Actual delusional T1 and Korean fan lmfao

posted 6 days ago

Just bring in FS and make a thai superteam

posted 6 days ago

This is a terrible argument lmfao, Americas is split into 3 regions while Pacific should be split into many more, how does SEA get less spots than Korea then when its 1 country against 11? Also no shot we are using China as an example here too.

posted 6 days ago

Go back to cooking food gordon ramsay, you can't cook up good baits

posted 6 days ago

Lowk probably would've used the champs funds and survived for another year

posted 6 days ago

Both of them are decently stable orgs and MITH is also hella popular

posted 6 days ago

I mean if there weren't already 5 Korean orgs I wouldn't have a big problem with it but if half of the teams are all going to be backed by Korean orgs then what's the point of having other organizations lol, doesn't give other region's orgs a chance to rep themselves.

posted 6 days ago

Full Sense? MITH?

posted 6 days ago

Better than another k0rean org

posted 6 days ago

Whitecat is like 16 pretty sure, Zeus idk

posted 6 days ago

5 Korean orgs is already too much in a scene where every region should get represented, why are we trying to add more?

posted 6 days ago

Having 3 different winners in pacific doesn't mean anything lmao, EMEA had 3 different winners and was still a 1 team region...
