I think you don't realise how rich the average Chinese org is

I'm pretty sure the net worth of one Chinese org is like the net worth of 3 EMEA teams combined

They were already playing a lot of non-Tejo comps before the Tejo nerfs, which massively played in their favour. Also as Sliggy mentioned on Plat Chat, some of the #1 seed teams messed up with their comps and strats which made it even more open for PRX

He can speak good enough English to communicate in-game. He has the same level of English proficiency as cgrs, and cgrs gelled well with the team

Spoilers :

THAT LAST SCENE MADE ME LOSE MY FUCKING MIND

I expected the games to be going on in other countries as well, but MAN THE REVELATION, FUCK
It was a decent ending though I can't lie, in terms of the people getting their happiness back rather than the ending OBJECTIVELY. Cheol (Sae-byeok's brother) got reunited with his mom, No-eul gets to see her daughter, Jun-ho (the detective) basically has 45.6 billion more won in his bank account, Played 246's daughter survived blood cancer, Gihun has left back money for her daughter, everything went well tbh

But in terms of the actual ending, HOLY SHIT WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT LOLOLOL

Don't ever compare this shit to Attack on Titan's ending, AOT's ending is like 50x better

EWC ends on 14th July and these guys have their first Stage 2 game on 16th July, except RRQ who have their first game on 17th July

Saudi Arabia and South Korea are like 6 hours apart, so jet lag and travel fatigue can also play a huge factor

I wouldn't be surprised if PRX lose to T1 because of this to be fair, and people shouldn't be taking their first game that seriously. Same goes for RRQ.

Who you got as the better team all time?

posted 4 days ago

Sideshow still shit talks PRX and says something like "This is the only international they'll ever win because everything went in their favour like the Tejo nerfs, Swiss Stage momentum, other teams not having much practice on non-Tejo comps etc." and the others go berserk, especially Wyatt.

posted 4 days ago

Unfortunately people only look at trophies won so in people's minds, Sentinels will always be a more decorated org than Paper Rex

Dare I say PatMen

Free road for PRX but I doubt they'll be playing this very seriously

posted 6 days ago

As a PRX fan I'm ecstatic that they finally won it, but watching Boaster in tears during the press conference almost made me cry as well. Chin up dude you're still one of the most decorated IGLs and players in the game, and the only IGL with two international trophies ❤️

posted 1 week ago

If PRX manage to win Champions as well, does it solidify them as the best team of all time?

4 grand finals made, 2 trophies - one of them being Champions
Unreal consistency, making every international except Masters Reykjavik, Champions 2021, and Masters Bangkok
Won two regional tournaments in Pacific

I honestly think they might dethrone FNC as the best team of all time

posted 1 week ago

It doesn't even have to be just decent. It can be amazing and a few bumps would cause internal chaos. Just look at KRÜ

posted 1 week ago

Idk, maybe scout and build teams properly instead of blowing up rosters after one bad split? (Which Americas teams are notorious for)

posted 1 week ago

Americas 3rd seed (MIBR) literally holds the record for the worst performance of all time at global events, and if that's your supposed 3rd best team then idk what to say man

posted 1 week ago

It took minutes of Wyatt convincing them to put a Pacific team in the top 4, otherwise they were literally gonna roll with PRX 8th, RRQ 7th and GEN 6th lmao

When they were ranking PRX at 4th, Sideshow was visibly cringing and whining

posted 1 week ago

Lmao exactly, winning Stage 2 against what? The only other 'good' team in Americas is SEN and the rest are dogshit lmfao

Pacific has like 7 teams that are capable of making internationals and PRX battles through every one of them to make it here

posted 1 week ago

I swear if they rank G2 or any other Nearest Airport team as first and follow it up with more Nearest Airport teams and ShitMEA teams in the power rankings and put the best Pacific team at like 6th for Champions, after seeing Pacific win the last two trophies, I'm gonna lose it

It could be the same case as Haodong. Maybe mindfreak would want to compete full time in the future instead of just being an assistant coach sub for PRX

Y'all lost a map to Wolves bruh, what makes you think your team is gonna even 3-2 PRX, let alone 3-0 them?

posted 1 week ago

FNC were running a lot of Yoru in 2024, so I'm pretty sure credit goes to them

posted 1 week ago

PRX :

Jinggg gets out of his seat excited, runs up to d4v41 and something, they all hug each other, PatMen calmly gets up and joins in, f0rsakeN is in tears and later gets up and joins the celebration with a wide smile, alecks and mindfreak come jogging from the coaching booth to chime in and alecks too is in tears

FNC :

Boaster let's out a twerk, crashies walks towards him and hugs him, they form a huddle alongside Milan and the rest of the staff and jump in celebration, Boaster then looks towards the crowd and shouts "OO AA EE" alongside Chronicle, and the crowd starts chanting "FNATIC"

posted 1 week ago

I'll literally curl up into a ball and cry for a week if they lose THIS one

posted 1 week ago

PRX players are human too, and they're prone to being extremely shaky in important games. This time's no different

posted 1 week ago

Bruh Alfajer is back to his prime, and so is crashies and Chronicle

I genuinely think FNC might win Toronto purely based off momentum and confidence. They'll just aim diff PRX at this point, who cares if they're gonna play Pearl and Sunset?

Not to mention, the last time PRX were in a grand finals at a Masters, it was against an EMEA team who defeated them on a map that was basically their permaban.

posted 1 week ago

It's actually a good strategy to leave those maps for later since you never know if you're gonna be down a map or two and have to reverse sweep or win the last two maps to win the tournament. It's better to leave your strong maps for later so that you won't have added pressure of playing a map you're not super confident on later in the game
