bruh i feel like 16 is too low. No matter how good some guys are they dont have any experience at 16. 18-24 seems more plausible

posted 2 weeks ago

In sports like football, a player's "Prime" is usually 26 to early 30s, and that player starts to decline after 32-34, eventually retiring at 36 or more
For goalkeepers, this number is way higher and a GK's prime is usually 30+ to 35, some goalies even retire after 40+ years old.

But what about valorant pros?
From what I see most pros are 20+ years old right now. Zekken is undoubtly reaching his prime ages at 20ish years old. TenZ definitely hit his peak at 20/21 but still performed well at 23 before he retired. Sacy retired at 27 but his prime is definitely when he was 25 during his champions win with LOUD.

KangKang might've have already his his prime at 20 years old, having a godlike performance at champions grand final.
Players such as f0rsaken, davai, something, still perform pretty well with exceptional mechanical skill, with davai being in his mid 20s, forsaken and something still in early 20s.
Mindfreak is performing much better than his early years, performing better at 25 than when he was younger.

yay's peak was when he was 23/24 on the optic days. He's still got it but his probably past his prime
Aspas is 21 so he still has 3/4 years left before his mid 20's.

but these peaks only happens due to perfect conditions, such as the team getting better, better team environment, better coaches, different meta, the roles or role switching, etc.
A controller might have an older prime age mean compared to duelists. But we will see in 3 to 4 years time if the current youngsters will hit their prime ages or not.

asc/low immo you got 50% cracked players who are chill and 50% players who have the biggest ego and argue over the smallest mistakes and some dumb fucking shit

posted 2 weeks ago

prx you've proven me wrong. You played with discipline, jingg finally played killjoy.

BUT I WILL NOT HAVE HOPE YET!

until you guys lift a masters/champions trophy

imagine a map with EVERY team running the same comp, jett kayo sova kj and a smoker

typical vlr snobs. It's so obvious mako has been declining and mf has been improving

posted 3 weeks ago

foxy9 be one of those thanos in a few rounds but mid in most rounds

posted 3 weeks ago

mako was only good in 2022-early 2023. In 2024 drx just changed alot of players so theres a reason why his performance dropped
mindfreak has been the better controller since tokyo 2023 to mid 2024 but prx was garbage in champs.

Mindfreak is SLIGHTLY better but not by a huge mile

posted 3 weeks ago

if they use this same comp during the season and keep losing then I'm going to tweak

as usual, j0ngg agent p00l is fucking atrocious

double duelist on haven? like bruh

I want them to atleast win a domestic trophy and then atleast top 4 in any of the masters or champions events. I'd be happy if FNS came back to the international stage again.

posted 1 month ago

The fact that this is FNS' first off season event and NRG has actual PROPER preparation in the off season is exciting. We know what happens when teams focus on development and growth during the off season (SEN having success last season) and I hope NRG can atleast make champs in 2025. I don't expect them to win any international trophies but I expect them to get top 4 or top 3 in one of the events.

The reason why the previous NRG "super team" didnt work was because they were late in announcing the roster, probably had little time to prep compared to every other team (Due to the EG roster lock), and ethan IGLing just didnt work + they kept changing around demon1 on raze which does not work. Demon1 isnt a pure entry duelist player and he plays more like a sentinel/2nd entry. IMO partly it was chet's fault for not utilizing the team last year. FNS and s0m also went in late and only had 1 month to prac with the team which is just isn't enough time.

With bonkar already cooking up a great NRG team in 10 days + 3 more months of practicing, bootcamping, and another offseason tournament for NRG, I'm sure they'll be atleast top 3 in Americas next year. After the SOOP valorant tournament, Mada and Verno can get some well needed experience against international tier 1 teams.

johnqt on initiator:

  1. He's played initiator on ghost gaming and a bit of flash initiator on m80 so it's not like he has 0 experience
  2. as an initiator on attack, you are essentially a group player and you generally enter the site with the duelist, flex, and controller and you can comm and control util timing and tell the duelist when to entry (you also know what's happening during the site hit)
  3. IGLing on sentinel is damn hard because you need to comm + looking at the map + telling people where to go, this means that he has to multi task which is bad for a lurker on attack because you NEED to be focused on what's infront of you all the time and you can imagine a case where john is comming and loses focus on whats in front, then he dies due to him not paying full focus on what's infront of him.
  4. on defense, john needed to anchor alot which means a higher chance of him dying first. If he's on initiator then he can control and execute site retakes for the team.

n4rrate on sentinel:

  1. overall an upgrade fragging wise and just makes sense. As an anchor and lurker, you need to frag alot and give n4rrate 2 more months on sentinel then he'd be good.
  2. he's ofc not IGLing on attack which means he can focus more on lurking and paying attention to what's actually infront of him.
  3. obviously as a site anchor for success you need to kill 2 before dying, and ofc this guy can frag well.
posted 1 month ago

also lurking as an igl is hard because you can lose your focus while comming and looking at the map and then you die to a timing because you weren't paying attention on whats in front

it makes so much sense to have narrate lurk

posted 1 month ago

the best roles to igl is smoker and initiator because ur actually with the team
if ur a sentinel/lurker then you're isolated and cant really control the tempo on attack and you need to focus more on gaps and lurk timings rather than comming

posted 1 month ago

i guess bro didnt watch champs 2024

posted 1 month ago

let him settle for a few months, he made alot of mistakes because hes probably pressured alot and playing against a real t1 team. If he gets more experience he'll do well

posted 1 month ago

arent czech mfers racist af

posted 1 month ago

thats not what OP is suggesting tho, it's just earnings and placements. An example would be trophies in transfermarkt's player profile where an icon or picture of the trophy is represented

posted 1 month ago

you are honestly braindead

posted 2 months ago

isnt yay not expensive now due to him not performing well for 2 years?

posted 2 months ago

Well I didn't say it's happening didn't I???? I just made a theoretical team

posted 3 months ago

Aspas - Duelist
Kinggg - Pure Smoker
tex - Sentinel
c0m - Pure initiator
Saadhak - Flex IGL

honestly it would be a huge boost to leviatan. Yes the're firepower does go down a bit since mazino is better at shooting than saadhak but bro saadhak is a top 3 IGL in valorant history for me man. That man HAS to be on a team.

its mostly the dumb twitter-kpop-vct fangirls who are just witchhunting these players man

All they do is stay on twitter, repost cringe kpop bullshit, find someone to cancel, and don't even go out of their own houses.

posted 3 months ago

I personally have no problem with that since I am neutral to trump and tate. Following them doesn't mean they're automatically racist or misogynistic. But if they straight up say they they hate a certain race of people, or support 1srael, or are straight up misogynistic then yeah that'd be disappointing

Personally I am fine if they apologize and don't do it again but these kpop bitches are just witchhunting them fr
and about miniboo following Tate, I have no problem with that because I follow Tate not because of his ideals but because he's just so funny and bro makes the cringiest tweets ever

I'll be over here eating my popcorn and watching the chaos unfold :D

very unfortunate that gambit coulnd't keep their roster together

posted 3 months ago

yup agree with this! if ur from EU then the cs2 scene is so much more stable.

But if you're from NA, APAC, SEA and china, valorant is just so much more popular which means more opportunities

posted 3 months ago

as a prx fan prx deserve all the critcism

you have 4 talented aimers + a clutch smokes player but you still dont follow the meta and have jingg stay in his comfort zone.

Literal j0ngg moment. like cmon man u are a pro player... expand your damn agent pool

What I meant in the post was what if the actual great CS Players played VALORANT first and not switching over from cs. I didn't say anything about switching games. I just said that if these players stuck to valorant only then Emea has the potential to dominate...

posted 3 months ago

yup, karmine corp was badly managed in 2023, NAVI was badly managed this year because they kicked their damn coach mid season, i really think that fnatic will give boaster 1 last year and if he doesn't get atleast top 4 in any tournaments, he's definitely getting replaced.

Also liquid picked up mistic and enzo which are just so MID. They've already played in tier 1 in 2022 and did not get fnatic anywhere. The only good EMEA org managed this year is heretics.

Vitality were switching up their roles and having sayf NOT on duelist for the 1st split killed the team's chances of making it to any internationals. The moment they put sayf on hard entry duelist, they qualified to champs.

KOI is just so bad. The ex ascend players other than cned are also washed now.

posted 3 months ago

yup, imagine if gambit didn't get fucked over by the war..

posted 3 months ago

yeah, the washed up tier 1 players next year are surely getting replaced by cracked tier 2 young players.

posted 3 months ago

hear me out:

All the talented monster aimers in EU all went to CS2, which is why emea's development (while still PRETTY GOOD) is not as good as cs2's.
Imagine ropz donk b1t zywoo s1mple monesy niko played pro valorant.

Sure we would never know how they would do, but imagine them grinding valorant instead of cs2, they can surely dominate. It's fun to think and imagine.

Also, there are no russian orgs since 2022. We all know that in cs2, russia (rather, the CIS region) has the biggest talent pool in FPS, and why most of them go to cs2 since cs2 is way bigger than valorant there.

But the caveat here is that CS2 just has so much more slots for EU + CIS teams. Barely any asian or chinese teams in cs2 because valorant is just so much more popular, so we'll never know. perhaps if cs2 was much bigger in those regions, and each major/IEM/ESL etc tournament had equal slots to all regions, china, korea, SEA etc maybe could've won something in CSGO and CS2.

if you disagree with me please state why in a calm, polite and reasonable manner ^_^

The baiting narrative is overall just dumb

  1. If you watched the G2 match, yes he has barely any 1st engagements which seems he's baiting but G2's whole plan was to literally find him and avoid him on attack. On defense, G2 is a retake heavy team so when Aspas entries their site, there is usually noone there.

  2. and if you've paid attention to the americas matches, aspas has a lot of first engagement stats

  3. I've seen you spout idiotic things here before and you're a braindead (or a genius baiter) NRG supporter so I guess I just wasted my time here

this can work too

posted 4 months ago

on your haven comp it's possible, Jingg is good at neon but he's not consistently great like aspas zekken and kangkang. He needs to get better. For haven I think breach is just way better since he's better for clearing corners, stopping the plant, haven has alot of narrow corridors so the stun is so much better

yeah the bind one was a typoe for me
on icebox, that can work too, but Imo i value kayo's knife and flashes more. Harbor is good too though, and can cut off OP lines

posted 4 months ago

you don't know that, noone knows that
sure it's possible that prx plays standard meta comps and teams just stomp them
but we've never actually seen them play standard that much, their most normal comp is the one on bind vs fut and they destroyed them

yeah I dont even feel excited anymore when they win
