The team also provided an update on Leo , who has been out since June 2024 with an undisclosed health concern, saying that they are continuing to monitor his health, but do not anticipate his return for Stage 1 of league play.

CoJo , the organization's team director, announced the decision was made following a string of bad results that eliminated the team from EMEA Kickoff.

Elmapuddy has been coaching in professional Valorant since 2021, beginning his career with Gen.G Gen.G Korea Rank #1 Foxy9 Jung Jae-sung (정재성) t3xture Kim Na-ra (김나라) Munchkin Byeon Sang-beom (변상범) yoman Chae Young-moon (채영문) Karon Kim Won-tae (김원태) in 2021 when the organization competed out of North America.

He had been with FNATIC since the beginning of the 2024 season, joining after the organization's trophy-laden 2023 season that saw it lift LOCK//IN São Paulo and Masters Tokyo before finishing fourth at Champions 2023 with Mini as their head coach.

In 2024, with Elmapuddy as head coach and Mini as assistant coach, FNATIC had its fair share of ups and downs. The campaign started with a semifinal finish at EMEA Kickoff, which saw the team miss out on Masters Madrid. It was the organization's first missed international event since missing out on Masters Berlin in 2021.

Once league play opened with Stage 1, they reached playoffs with a 3-3 record, reaching the top half of a six-way tie. They defeated Team Heretics Team Heretics Europe Rank #1 MiniBoo Dominykas Lukaševičius Wo0t Mert Alkan RieNs Enes Ecirli benjyfishy Benjamin David Fish Boo Ričardas Lukaševičius in the grand finals to lift their first trophy of the year and earn a bye from the Swiss Stage at Masters Shanghai.

After crashing out of Shanghai after two consecutive losses, FNATIC returned to the European stage with a newfound dominance, capping off an eight-match winning streak by lifting the Stage 2 trophy. The year ended with a 5th-6th finish at Champions 2024, with FNATIC again struggling on the international stage but showing signs of improvement.
