Were they really just expecting to land undercut + shock every time? What a throw lmao.
everyone will hopefully move on once this year's soop tourny ends
shanks and mooda are some of the most insufferable cunts in the "valorant influencer sphere". I know that tenz's recent complaints have rubbed some the wrong way but he's still a net positive for valorant that's actually able to competently regulate his community and accept responsibility.
pretty sure there's 3 matches today so they probably want to try and finish at around the same time
This is more soop's fault than anything else, but there are plenty of val streamers that are completely spineless when it comes to regulating their community.
might unironically be a 26-0 after seeing rlf at ascension
sen might be a slight upgrade as the year goes on depending on how well the new roles end up working. If N4rrate and johnqt go back to their old roles, I could also see that working seeing as N4rrate and zellsis are big yappers.
depends on how riot treats the game ig. if they keep focusing on esports and making changes based off of pro play, I could see the game lasting for a decent while seeing as the average valorant player seems to be far more aware of the competitive scene compared to most other games. stuff like the first clove nerf lessens my confidence a bit, this year has definitely had the most ranked related changes which doesn't make too much sense to me seeing as people knowingly play sub optimally in ranked.
13-11 I stand corrected
I might agree on 2023 but 2022 is crazy considering how consistent mako and (to a slightly lesser extent) buzz were that year
not looking good so far
that just doesn't make sense, are you translating from a different language? Or are you trying to imply that it's unfair for the sen event to be bo3 because that makes it a "higher quality event" compared the kc event?
Is the argument that you want to watch less valorant? How would bo3 be overkill?
I don't think anyone's doubting nrg tbh, they look brilliant and most of what I've seen are people excited to see this roster preform during the regular season. I just hope this isn't a honeymoon phase and that they don't stagnate as the year goes on.
I mean sen weren't trying to create an event like like this in the first place, but I'd take bo3 over bo1 any day
most likely not, just growing pains from role swaps I'd guess
I'm obviously not just talking abt this thread then am I?
I kinda wanna see john and n4rrate swap roles. This roster is nuts, but the results won't be instant if players are still ajusting to new roles
so many ppl just changed their flair lmao, I've never seen so many nrg flairs in my life
it was already bo3 before the tourney started though?
wasn't it an eg dc? they won the remade round anyway as well ig
the community opinion of her is very positive but their best placement in 2024 was top 4 in kickoff. I'm not saying that she shouldn't get the final say, but I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't get it.
potter said that this is the roster she wants for 2025 but when asked what the "temporary stuff" was about said "I just work here". I'm guessing that someone at eg wants to still make changes
Went +9 against sen and neutral against nrg and had lots of high impact moments. Definitely not in peak form but still a solid performance against 2 teams that are looking pretty good. Not sure how long EG have had w/ this roster though, wouldn't surprise me if potter has been trialing a different duelist.
Bleed or talon, probs. Maybe the loud tryouts after champs LA if that counts
might play jett if someone else is playing an agent with "dive-like" utility (yoru or omen basically)
given the circumstances, he probs felt like he had to make a play there
c9 changed igls and this eg roster is temporary
They're sen fans. If they win 1 map, sen's the best team in the world and if they drop 1, they're the worst. Ik because I'm unfortunately one of them
I saw someone in tariks chat saying "oxy makes neon look balanced" :(
The event obviously has problems, but people are just hating for the sake of it. Complaining about a lot of sentinels related ads during the beginning of a sentinel's event is moronic and displays a poor understanding of the world of esports as a whole
who's playing controller on fpx now?
this might genuinely be one of the biggest "non-issues" to complain about lmao
last stage was at least on their twitch unless I'm hallucinating
did lpl not get the rights for stage 3?
does this put autumn or berlin on controller full time?
Too early for neon as well imo, at least with how the agent works now. You could split it up into a pre 8.11 and post 8.11 but that's probably somewhat antithetical to the "spirit" of these sorts of discussions.
I love this team istg I'm not just shitting on them for the fun of it
this shouldn't be a hot take tbh, there are 25 agents in the game and monyet can probably play 23 (maybe 24) of them at a higher level than jinggg. having players as flexible as forsaken and d4v41 feels like a waste if they're constantly having to play around a raze 1 trick and a guy who's second best agent is fkn reyna. Idk how good monyet would be on jett but switching to someone who can play jett, raze and neon feels like it would provide some much-needed consistency for the other 3. maybe jinggg and something are just absolute vibe gods outside of the game though.
