Verno was in tier 2 with oxygen eSports where bonkar was their coach basically got a free ride over to tier 1 when bonkar got signed to nrg, and the only reason nrg won the off season tournaments into opinion was that all the other teams were strat saving and they didn't which ment when kick off came about they got bodied in both games because teams knew how to read them (for the record I don't know for sure if that's true it's merely an opinion)

Even though emea didn't win a single trophy last year team heretics made it to the finals of champs and a masters last year emea didn't exactly flop they even came close with a stand in, all regions are looking solid this year so to be honest it's any regions year this year

It's unfortunately facts that both nagz and delzik have fallen off though look at their kda both negative and by quite a bit over both maps unfortunately they won't be vct calibre with stats like that you can say they have fallen off in that match but I feel I have to be fair and let accessions play out to fully believe they are "completely washed"

Don't really know the other teams and their history only know TSM and M80 and I'm not even sure either will dominate especially how M80 have had an up and down challengers this year compared to last year so any top four is possible tbh

If I'm honest and not for regions sake but I want heretics to win as you said their will be alot of band waggoners if edg win but heretics winning will prove they have been a decent team most of the year round coming second last masters and winning champs would be better imo for eSports China's run to grand finals will always be cemented in Val history regardless of win or loose so they win either way on another level

Team heretics won first strike they've been relevant since the start of Valorant granted they fell off after that win but they have been quite relevant from the start of Val eSports

Their are some truths to an igler isn't expected to frag and by that statement I mean top frag or be a high kda, they are expected to get kills don't get me wrong but thoses kind of roles are more aimed towards your dualists/initiators, their are exceptions to igls that can top frag but their aren't many out their right now, and igl role is to coordinate your team to be in a position to win and that takes alot of concentration which can act as a distraction to your performance which has been proven over the many years of FPS titles, how ever yes 3 players on a team aren't expected to kill against 5 that would be as you rightly stated doesn't make sense i think a misunderstanding of the statement " igls arent expected to frag" they are but not at the level of the other roles in the team

As long as scream isn't igl'ing he will pop off tbh he can't igl and frag which is a shame

I would personally get rid of the whole c9 squad and rebuild from talent in tier 2 hungry for titles
