What is your favorite VCT/VCL team and why?
Is it conditional? Would yo ever stop being a fan if certain player/staff member left?
For me is FNC, I've been a fan since 2022, and I've always been there because of Boaster and Derke. My fanatism for this roster increased once Chronicle joined
I would stop "supporting them" the day Chronicle leaves/the day they win a Champs event
NRG.
I was rooting for OpTic during the first ever tournament I watched not even expecting them to make it out of groups (I figured NA was already washed), and they ended up winning the whole thing + having an amazing year.
Eventually got really attached to the players, FNS and Yay specifically. I liked 2023 NRG but lost interest in 2024 NRG. Now that FNS is back I like them again and they have the best lineup (Individually speaking) they've had in the past 2 years as a bonus.
FOKUS
first of all i love Al0rante and i want germans in T1 Valorant aswell as a german Org
FOKUS is the biggest Org in germany, with lots of money (maybe frandchise if they kick some team?) and i think Eligella is alright
i also like Kuba (but his community is kinda cringe) and ive watched their Ascension into pre franchise T1 with their old roster
i also think that Fokus has the ability to build a roster that can (finally) win in Ascension and watching their games is always hype
i wished that they would pick up Click as their Duelist and with Al0rante, Bucher and two other players they couldve been Ascension contenders
but now Click is prob goin to NAVI or GiantX (im also a NAVI fan so that wouldve still be great + german duelist)

Loud, was conditional.
I am talking about 2022 Loud, i started to cheer for they bc i was fan of Aspas and Sacy, but i turned fan bc of the team aura, they was quiet, calm, and extremelly respectfull, like some type of REALLY profissional team.
After some time, the team lost this aura and Sacy and pANcada leaved, and after 2023, Aspas leaved, i like Saadhack and Less, but i liked Aspas more, so i cheered for lev.
NRG
been a fan since late 2021, originally became a fan because of their content creator Flexinja and then seeing some matches with players like S0m Hazed and Tex and honestly just at the time embracing them in their underdog in NA role, followed that into the 22 season with signing Ethan and then going on a run in 22 just barely missing the LANs of that year. Stayed a fan since, became a secondary fan of teams like Guard and Optic esp during the latters run in 2022, like when NRG failed to make a lan i usually fell to being an optic fan, primarily because of FNS Yay and Marved. So when most of the optic core signed with NRG in 2023/24 it was like my two fav teams had merged. Overall just been a fan of pretty much every player the org has brought in and rooted for the ones that have left to succeed like Ethan in EG, Tex in TGRD and LEV
I cant say I'll stop rooting for them but its been hard at times, but I'll likely be staying loyal until they don't exist in val anymore
I've also been a fan of the likes of G2 because of the guard core of guys when NRG didnt make LANs in 2024 I'd root for them instead.
PRX
I have been a fan since masters berlin 2021 back when it was just f0rsaken constantly overheating, going nuts and PRX losing entertaining games
Copenhagen and Champs LA will forever haunt me because PRX should have won those but gg's to FPX and EG, they were simply better
Wish the team kept Benkai, him instead of cgrs at masters tokyo could have resulted in at least a GF appearance
The Guard/ Now G2, I've always enjoyed watching them since they first made a splash on the VCT stage, a bunch of hardworking team oriented players that might not have the flash of most teams but had such great teamwork that they have been slowly getting better and better, we've lost some of the core along the way but Valyn as IGL, it's always been fun to watch for me. I know most people say this type of playstyle is super boring to watch but I actually prefer when a team does well off of teamwork and strategy then anything else.

VCT: T1.
I've been a fan of them since their 2020 days, back when they played against Code7, homeless, Moon Raccoons, Renegades, ANDBOX, Pioneers, and many more. Back when they had brax, ska, azk, DaZeD, Spyder, curry, steel, autimatic, dawn, seven, thwifo, etc. I was there for the "help sewers" era. I was there when there was a rumour that DaZed bullied Saya and the org bullied the latter into changing his IGN. I was there when they kept failing to qualify via OPEN QUALIFIERS despite being FAVOURITES. I was there when they kept changing the roster every two months and performed disgustingly. I was there when they finally moved to Pacific and had mid performances despite signing great players. So it just stuck with me, not because I am a LOL fan, but because I have been devoted to the ups and MANY downs of T1 Valorant.
VCL: don't have favourite teams, but I just support VCL Japan. Done so since 2021.
I am a Zeta/PRX fan. I have a decent proficiency in Japanese (self-taught, I started years ago) and so I am biased towards Zeta and Laz (RIP my goat). I don't tend to follow specific teams but moreso who is interesting to watch. PRX was my first love in Valo esports. A lot of teams have been very good, but only Optic have been as interesting to watch consistently. PRX made their own game despite the odds and have still come out as one of the most successful Valo orgs to date. They are incerdibly fun to watch, in both officials and on their personal streams. Everything about this team since Berlin 2021 has sent dopamine into my brain, from the Benkai walkouts to the Jinggg and f0rsaken tete moments. I will always support the organization and players, and they have even made me want to travel to MY/SG/ID and experience/study the languages and cultures for myself.
