Really been around long enough to see people debate it because they weren't there holy.
FNC 2023 was pretty damn good, if not consistently the "best" team in franchising that whole year and can be argued for one of the best teams of all time. But rest of EMEA was pretty mediocre outside of them and NAVI. They only got an extra champs slot from LCQ because of FNC just for all of EMEA to get stomped in Champs. FUT only beat a very underwhelming T1 at champs and it was close both times with plenty of 50/50 rounds.
Lock In is a debateable win even if most of the teams they beat were legit outside of 100T. Sentinels and Furia were hot and cold. NAVI was good enough to make internationals but could not win shit for the life of them. Format just was leading to a ton of chaos and much of the results outside of maybe the top like 6 teams really didn't mean anything, just a nature of the beast there though.
They pretty much shaped the way Lotus was played the entire year, if not even to this day. Tokyo was the most dominant tourney since the first Reykjavik. EG was a very late riser in the year and surprised literally everybody. LOUD having their number made sense because LOUD 22-23 was also really damn good.
