I mean last kickoff looked a lot worse for every region in my opinion, so overall I feel like yes the level of play is lower, start of the season though. but the best teams look way better early then they did last year

I agree a bit, But its always SEN fans the most whoever they are playing, just the biggest fanbase especially around Riot HQ I guess.
There were quite a few LOUD fans there too though.

Honestly the only time I disliked BR was at Lock in, Fan's only cared about their team, I understand the hype for the home team and that's fine, but anytime a non BR team plays it was ZzzZZzzz in the crowd.

Winner is not obvious, I think G2 win but I think it will be a 2-1 no matter who wins.

Last year was a disappointment? picking up Leaf, losing Tex before the season, First year out of ascension having to pick up a new duelist start of the year after kickoff and then getting 3rd at Shanghai, 7th - 8th was a bit of a under performance at Champs but was 2nd in both Stage 1 and 2 of America's. Last year was a incredible year for them. I agree SEN will be the true test for them. Also G2 beat SEN TWICE last year with JohnQt as the IGL, arguably the better SEN team then they have now, and a worse G2.

Edit. If you consider that a disappointment, I don't know what a good season for team looks like, yeah they weren't world beaters and didn't get a trophy but to be coming up into the league with 2 new players seems like quite the accomplishment.

That's a bit fair, they haven't played any serious threats yet. but I think your over estimating how much of choker he is. Should be a fantastic series, I would be surprised if it was a 2-0 for either team.

Why so down on G2? I get people hyping them up, but leaf is playing the best in AMER's right now and the rest of the team is still hitting and play almost flawlessly team play wise.

I think NS has a pretty solid chance at making it to Bangkok, its a bit of a tough road but I think they are better then everyone in the lower bracket right now, not sure how they would do in a bo5 vs DRX or T1 but I definitely think they can win those

As of right now through the season I think each region has at least a couple of S tier teams.

EMEA - VIT and TH (Two)

CN - EDG, TE and even Bilibili. (2 and a half)

APAC - T1, DRX, and Probably NS, could be GenG? (Three)

AMER - G2, SEN, LOUD and NRG. (four) possibly 3 depending how NRG do in the lower bracket.

Kind of true, but this roster was very good last year and got upgraded at duelist. It's easy to say they haven't played anyone but overall just based on last year and the 1 game we have seen they look good.

Loud 2 - 1 Sen - I think LOUD pull off the upset here but it is a very close series coming down to a few rounds in each games

G2 2 - 0 Lev - I think G2 looks too drilled and prepped, they look very strong and Lev looked a bit shaky even with 2-0ing Furia (It's Furia tho)

EG vs MIBR
EG 1 - 2 MIBR - My personal bias says EG wins this but I think MIBR has regrouped and are gonna continue to look better as they get more games under their belt.

NRG 2 - 0 KRU - I think now that NRG is past their first 2 games the make a deep run in Lowers, KRU looked bad vs LOUD and then played a T4 2G team and wiped them that game doesn't mean much.
