Naruto Shippuden was by far the worst popularity to quality ratio I watched. Naruto is like a 6/10 at best, but that's still solid. Shippuden was so bad I hate watched Boruto (mind you, I haven't watched anime since 2021), and even that shitty reboot had more positive qualities than the most overrated delivery of media known to man. I did think Sasuke vs Itachi + Pain vs Jirahya was the best section of episodes in the series, but the downhill after that mini-arc was absolutely unmatched. It's a 1/10 show just unironically.

I feel like OG Naruto was so overrated, it had it's moments but was so goddamn boring and slow sometimes, the nostalgia factor puts it on top for most people, Shippuden was amazing tho... Can't hate on that

more than 3 words and complaining about Shippuden xD. Pain arc was goated. So was naruto vs sasuke. Kakashi vs obito. Gaara's rescue was cool. Sure the filler episodes kinda ruined Shippunden but the canon one were actually good.

nah the story woul'dve been peak IF kaguya and the otsutsuki didn't exist and Hagoromo was simply just the strongest dude in the verse. Boruto series shouldn't exist and for the story to end at shippuden (and maybe some OVA's like sasuke retsuden)
