Pretty much.
One of the major reason other teams that were successful for a longer period was when they're having a bad day, individuals would win then games.
Like how Alfa would takeover.
Liquid currently lacks that tbh.
nAts - Keiko - Kamo is a great core and paTiTek is a great addition for the vibes but his fragging is very inconsistent.
But we've seen rosters with one such vibe merchant who's maybe not as good fragging wise but needed to keep the teams up with the vibes or with the Cohesion like Zellsis, Lakia.
It's just Serial hasn't been upto the mark like Kamyk.
I know they made a change for the better but the 1v4 from Kamyk on Abyss during Shanghai, that's something that Liquid need rn. Sheer individuals bailing them when the team is having an off day.
Basically a 2021-22 esque Liquid with all the fire power + current coaching staff would absolutely annihilate.
Pretty much.
To add to the point, 2023 FnC had multiple top 5 itw shooters which could single handedly own rounds.
Currently Liquid completely is a real good team but I still think they can get out aimed by FnC
Liquid trolled the Map vetos no?
Icebox isn't as convincing.
Idk I feel they weren't tested enough. When they're good they destroy teams but I feel they haven't been tested on their "bad" day (I'm discounting the game vs M8s as they had just come back from Masters but perhaps that shows the floor of the team?)
Fnatic on a good day can 2-0 a Liquid having a bad day
And I'm ngl I'm not confident enough for them to win it from the lowers despite then having done it once before
Oh boy the above piece is a VERY important piece of art that has shaped the history of VLR
But you know the bigger issue here is, sometimes you're not cut to be the IGL and that's okay.
Don't try to end up being like Scream when you have the potential.
Not everyone can end up like nAts
I think at the point a lot of pros also have admitted that there have been scrim sharing, with proofs I believe which Riot dismissed (why they did this is unknown, maybe not strong enough or maybe they thought it is outside of their bounds)
F0rsaken has won a LAN no?
Just not internationals
Speaking as a 2001 born, the cartoons that would air at our time were so peak
It actually had lessons and mature plot!
They're complaining because liquid is up 1-0 and that they're a "trash" org for not starting 0-0
It's weird to me how they've read Enghh's tweet and completely undermined Liquid ALSO having issues.
And tbh no matter how they would handle this situation, people would still trash them that's just given
This.
No matter how "fair" they try to make it there'll never the most perfect choice, any decision would have met with criticism and it's honestly no one's fault and goes to show how much these issues can disrupt the flow
And someone from Berlin has left (flor)
Okay bad pun
This is an embarrassment now I'm ngl.
Fnc Vs TH has to be postponed to tomorrow, no?
Yes
I agree. If it is all time then it's probably not even a contest.
He came in mid way, MVP'd Champions and sure rn he might be in a worse spot but the rookie year was still the best imo
GOAT, and they thought only ANGE1 on Jett can do damage.
Ykw I'd love an offseason event where they all play different agents
That is a diabolical statement but can I even disagree with you?
I haven't seen the recent games due to work being hectic but the stats and his ratings do show him giving great value as a controller.
A lot of folks ended up loving PRX for the Benkai shenanigans and F0rsaken being an absolute demon (yes he'd overheat like crazy but that was the meta back in 2021)
And then came Jinggg who was similar. Then the same pattern with Something.
So you will always have fans of a single player that may become the fan of the org.
For instance ScreaM or TenZ as well. C9 with Tenz was huge but the moment he went to Sen, it just blew up in popularity.
So honestly it comes down to whether these specific groups of fans grew into fans of the org or whether they'll just keep following the singular players.
nAts + paTiTek (I'm assuming especially during defence)
Brother nothing about it was fluke. It was a definite comp diff and off game from buzz. T1 eliminated every #1 seed to win it all. They had a great showing even after that. Just that there's so much footage of them out and I'm not sure why they don't change their icebox
Chronicle. He does sometime drop in to post something I'm sure. Maybe not as active but I saw an opportunity and I took it lol
Bro's his long lost twin brother with the looks as well
I'm ngl but Kicks has been their best player if we look overall and I stand by it
Mad mad mad respect to the coaching staff. With how fast they've improved and trying to anti the other teams is insane
Everyone at TL deserves credit
I didn't mean to compare Kamo with Icy.
I mean it looks more like Kamo is fulfilling the type of role that Icy was fulfilling on G2. Not expected to frag super heavy, but get the job done for the team to proceed ahead.
I mean surely he would be because he was frying everyone during trials, pretty sure someone from TL mentioned that he was better than any other pro who was trailing.
Looking at him I think it's just a mental, if he can get over his mental health can be that insane Fragger.
I do view him more like Icy to be honest where he isn't necessarily expected to frag out crazy heavy but do the said things which I think he does very well.
I hope this roster actually goes beyond the mile
Yep bro just proves why he's the only person to hold 3 international trophies
Oh wow man, thanks for this!
Will certainly keep them in check!
Lmao bro I was a tex doubter as well but man did he make me into a believer. Don't underestimate him
I used to watch him because he was popular and had interesting guests like Nadeshot as well.
But once I discovered my goat Sliggy, never went back, now sliggy is my perma
Been telling it this guy was robbed of the MVP at champs
Bro was honestly robbed of the MVP
WHAT WAS THAT ACE!
Thanks for the reply!
Personally I would love to explore the Malaysian cuisine and the local dishes
I'll give them the shadow of doubt here.
New player but most importantly M8 had 3 extra weeks to prepare some crazy new ideas.
But Fair play, GG to M8
And please Liquid I wanna see Ayaz back on the internationals and possibly win one ;(
First match on Astra for the first time ever.
I'll be honest I haven't seen him before but I'll give him shadow of the doubt
Yep.
And Kamo while inconsistent he does his job very well.
Probably a cope but if they retain that form and if Serial performs the way how everyone's hyping him then. liquid can be contenders
