Less is a better aimer
nAts has a better understanding on viper

posted 1 day ago

Yes and that's worse for them knowing that in the last 3 maps (where G2 was already 2-1 considering both the OT maps) if they'd just won 1 round, everything changes

posted 1 day ago

Best match in VCT history, GOAT behaviour.
The stats having everyone be negative and 3 G2 guys going double positive shows stats aren't everything.

posted 3 days ago

You're into something, Meteor might be the 'Faker' of Valorant, coming from the same team, T1

Far fetched but currently APAC has only 2 trophies and Meteor has been a part of both rosters.

As for Sylvan, damn he is a LANimal. That 1v5 will stay rent free with me, and carpe is real good but I was not prepared for how good Sylvan would actually be, insane stepping up.

posted 3 days ago

Yeah I think that's fair to say

posted 3 days ago

Double duelists across 3 pros (Buzz, Izu, Meteor) cleared🗿

posted 3 days ago

The winners of Bangkok were supposed to be those who would abuse Tejo the most and T1 leaned very less on Tejo (probably the least?)
Crazy stepping up from T1

posted 3 days ago

Which is still way more thrilling than any other GF except maybe Sen vs FNC where every map was a 11-13 or went OT (still not as thrilling given the quality of play back then was more aim reliant and not so much on the util)

posted 3 days ago

Ikr. I mean T1 was considered THE 8th team with everyone being higher on Trace than T1 (and I don't think that was wrong given how T1 were playing in regionals, they'd be grouped)
It's crazy to see they pulled a TL and actually kept getting better every match but unlike TL who lost 2-3 in the GF, this time T1 won 3-2

posted 3 days ago

Yep, I agree that the last map was a generational comeback which might just be the only time we see such a comeback at a grand final.
But the first 4 maps were meh.
Here, the first map was meh but every other map was a banger.

posted 3 days ago

To me, T1 vs G2 was the best Grand finals in VCT history. Every map except the first one was close. Banger halves by the teams.
I know Fnc vs Loud is widely considered the best but I honestly think there were at least 5 moments when I thought the games done across multiple maps.

posted 3 days ago

Loud Icebox definitely. At the point only a map 5 2-10/1-11 comeback can top it

posted 3 days ago

Hell nah. This is probably the only 8 team masters that has had so many hype and OMG moments from Nats 1v3, 1v4 to Kamyk 1v4 to Zmjjkk hitting that insane 1 tap on Keiko while he's raze ulting, Sylvan 1v5, Derke's insane aces, Stax 1v2 (bind Kayo and Split Fade) and it goes on and on.
Time zone diff and non clouted orgs like Sen, Fnatic, PRX being absent makes you feel this way but this masters delivered to me

Is it cope to say, Liquid would have beaten this vitality?

posted 5 days ago

You, nobody, something, 5cm and hdmi gonna win champs

This thread is golden

Derke. Very vocal guy, can play about every duelist at a great level

Free money W

G2 have tried solo viper on ascent pre nerf with some good results . Liquid 2024 went Yoru solo duelist as well.
I think Vyse will be strong on ascent.

posted 1 week ago

If only they'd focus on few maps rather than trying to cook things up on every map.

posted 1 week ago

I mean let's be honest if Patitek and kamo had stepped up with their aim, Liquid might have made the playoffs too.
Nats saved them but with how especially Patitek was playing, this was evident.

posted 1 week ago

As they did this year?
They rebuilt around Nats and Keiko

posted 1 week ago

Exactly what I was wondering. Last year he was out aiming others, out braining others with his decision making and was the best support.

As of now his supporting util is still very good but his aim and decision making have sort of disappeared.
Hoping they bounce back these next 2 maps

posted 1 week ago

Nah it's simple.
It comes down to who throws the map vetoes

posted 1 week ago

Liquid vs t1 finals

Or liquid vs EDG with liquid getting the victory this time would be poetic af

The 'glue' team being the best in the world at a point would be so ironic

posted 1 week ago

I want that to be the final now. It'll be insane

posted 1 week ago

To be fair, the best Abyss team in the world should have won abyss a lot more convincingly. They definitely threw some rounds especially the 4v2 where idk how zekken did not die when he was 1hp for so long lmao

Come on liquid do the funniest thing ever now!

posted 1 week ago

I mean you can also not look at it and look away?

posted 1 week ago

Oh yes that I agree with, If Derke wins 3 trophies that is.
It'll be similar to chron winning 3 across 2 rosters but with higher highs.

posted 1 week ago

But we already have chronicle who has won 3 internationals across 2 teams so by that logic wouldn't chronicle be the goat till then?

posted 1 week ago

The way liquid are winning anything is if they're heavily considered an underdog, the moment people start leaning towards them or think there is a chance, they'll lose

posted 1 week ago

Nah fr he's untouched in the baiting department

posted 1 week ago

I understand that but Tarik doesn't even watch half the rounds if someone's on the call, they'll just go on a tangent and talk about something else rather than focusing on the match.

I prefer platchat / Slideshow for entertainment with good analysis, sliggy for the vibes and TMV for his malding
Sean gares is good too

posted 1 week ago

Ahh mb, I was unaware of that, thanks for clarifying

posted 1 week ago

Yeah, map 1 was absolute Cinema but my god did they remind us why liquid is called chokequid.
But I'll cut them some slack and doubt them coz apparently when everyone doubts liquid they overperform

posted 1 week ago

Exactly my point. China as a region has gone so far ahead, they even conducted another tournament for teams that did not make it and now those teams have further lan practice

posted 1 week ago

We got the glue back in liquid but honestly doesn't this seem unfair that a region has its conclusion and has almost 20-25 days till masters while other regions only have around 10-12?

And here if we take the case of liquid, playing 7 games and exposing themselves so much and only having 10 days in which you've also got to do media, travel and then face someone who's had nearly a month to redo their comps (which they absolutely did)

Is this fair on these teams that conclude so close to a masters?

posted 1 week ago

Better than useState in complex apps ngl

posted 2 weeks ago

True. He's looking like the best APAC duelist rn

posted 2 weeks ago

But then you've already got F0rsaken who's an S tier Yoru

posted 3 weeks ago

My favourite roster
Keiko
Kamo
Kamyk
Katitek
Kats
With their coach Kohan and sub Karmii

posted 3 weeks ago

Let's hope they keep this form, insane work from them. But Liquid definitely isn't making it through Bangkok (I think the script needs all of us to keep doubting them)

posted 3 weeks ago

Insane showing from them like HOLY
The coaches and the players deserve absolute credit. What an 'absolute cinema' run

posted 3 weeks ago

They are mad goated.
To anti so many teams in such a short span especially when you started off with pure muddy valorant is insane to me

posted 3 weeks ago

Not just that this is a team that was heavily clowned for being muddy and trolling. Then pulling a win would be insane and I think no one can call it a fluke with how stacked the teams are

posted 3 weeks ago

What's funny to me is that, the same team that trolled like that ended up getting significantly better with each game and ended up qualifying looking much more confident and team oriented

posted 3 weeks ago

Bro doesn't even pay attention tho. He'll do everything but pay attention to the actual game

posted 3 weeks ago

And he is not 4th or 5th

posted 3 weeks ago

To me a team that starts off trolling and being a joke and then gradually getting better and better is insane.
Like they have anti'd every team they've played pretty well in such a short span. That's mad commendable on the coaching end and the players themselves
