I’m confused as to why curry is getting hate. He’s a really good player and stepping up while Sacy is struggling with the loss of his dog is admirable considering all the pressure is on him to perform so they can get to champs.
He’ll also be on initiator which is arguably his best role and realistically Sacy is the best person he can sub for role-wise. I think they’ll do great. If he can have a record of 12-6 with xeppa, mitch and vanity, I’m sure he’ll be fine.
You're just used to identifying duelists as the only star players. He doesn't need to drop +30, he doesn't need to be a star. He just need to play his role, even if it is mid. Sacy isn't necessarily the best initiator so it wont be hard to play at his level at the very least. In terms of util and kills, he'll do fine. The only issue is that Sacy is pretty vocal on the team from what I've heard so that might be a different dynamic.

He didn't say it was but it definitely makes the transition easier when you shit on everyone in Radiant. He also has competitive experience.
I mean look at Demon1, Oxy, or Primmie. All ranked demons who had a smooth transition. Granted they have different roles but since he's taking over one of his comfort roles, it'll be pretty good.
He is (or used to be, not sure) a very big smurf. Used to do it nonstop, and not only turn it into content therefore making money and gaining popularity off of it, but also condone it and even kind of preach it to his audience, which isn't a small number of people by any means. People don't like him because he's contributed heavily to one of the worst problems in VALORANT, and because he doesn't (or didn't) see anything blatantly wrong with it.
I can understand that to a degree but I'm not sure why people are acting like he's the grandfather of smurfing. People have been doing it before him and they will do it after him. Not just in valorant but OW, R6, League, COD, any game that has a competitve atmosphere will have smurfs. Not just that but its not like he's doing maliciously, its for content. I've seen his videos, bro gets like 50 rr a game when he is climbing the lower ranks so its not like he's there for long either.
On top of that, he also looks like he smurfs against radiants sometimes so he has the skills to back it up. Hating is just weird behavior in general so I'm not sure.
