fair but lowkey teams be cooking with these new comps
Really hard to tell the strength of Americas since it feels like anybody could win ngl
from what I heard it might be related to the SOOP Riot agreement for tier 2
I agree. Really cool roster they have and much more interesting to watch than Loud.
Def needs some refining but her raw skill is great
2022 Loud for sure.
fr which is why I am not as excited about Loud this year.
Solid day. Really cool to see Saadhak and Ange1 face off tho.
Here's what I think: Natank on duelist , Tex can flex, initiator c0m, King on senti, and demon1 on smokes (maybe throw in a jett game here and there). They can double initiator tejo (com and tex), vyse deadlock (tex and king), double duelists (natank demon1) with king on smokes and natank on senti. Issue is this puts a lot of pressure on tex and king since they are not playing on their "premium roles"
I dunno I think its fun to see how these rosters work considering they have some well known players as imports in that league.
They look much better than last year and they haven't hit their ceiling yet.
DSG didn't really understand the nature of the league with the SOOP contract so its partial blame on them. Orgs should know what type of league they are going to participate (as a rule of thumb). BUT all flame on Riot for not doing a good job on informing these orgs about this deal and how it affects them. Ultimately the players suffer the most from this ordeal and something must be done to avoid this.
Thats true. I think its cool Americas happens in the Riot arena (similar to LCS). It's just sucks to see LATAM and Brazil not getting some of the glory yk
LATAM seems like a great place to host Americas. Think it will give the region more of an identity regarding promotional material and we did have a solid ascensions finals at Monterrey. Relatively safe city for foreigners and is a great compromise for location. Issue is they need to announce a move like this really early to make sure these teams find housing and the legal paperwork for this.
Agreed. Hard to sustain that if you play more than 3 ranked games.
Realistically, ranked is not the place to be some big brain IGL so I suggest being an emotional leader and be OBSERVANT. Encourage people to ask for help, set people up to build trust, and make the comms open and welcoming.
Bro is one of the best Thai players and was part of a team that brought Thailand to the international stage. One of the few support players that can win out clutches.
Def was hesitant to jump on the hype but turn out its a fun game. For me tho it feels like a game you would jump on occasionally if you have a group.
T1 is a pretty hype org so to see them form a team of known respected korean talent is a good thing for those fans
Regionally, Heretics is in a good place.
Mitch is a good IGL but feels bad for Rossy. He should have been in the roster from the get go and not become a replacement
I came back from vacation to see this....
Ngl imma wait till the season starts before getting on the doomium about this team
Sym on EG sounded good on paper but ngl I don't think that roster is the right team for him to prosper.
Not sure if they qualify for masters but I expect them to be 5-6th in the league
Great core that showed signs of improvement despite finishing 4th again. Only a matter of time until they break into top 3
I find playing only senti is really nice for working on fundamentals/aim. You really just hold space and rely on your mechanics to make big plays. Once you get that down, then you can start being a flex player and start cooking with different agents.
Nah If you watched the game it wasn't zekken vs mada. It was two really good teams that were neck to neck to the end.
VLR forums are what ppl make it to be. You are not obligated to click and read every post.
Cool Argentinian team. Onur, nzr, and saadhak had been on the same team so they can be an established core. Then we got duo from All Knights as an injection of new talent. Saadhak is the IGL of course but this would be better if nzr is good at mid rounding to be a secondary caller.
nzr- flash initiator
saadhak- senti/IGL
dantedeu5- duelist
Cebando- Smokes
Bnj- info initiator/flex
Onur- Head Coach (one of the coaches of all time in latam)
He was toxic yeah but hella funny at the same time.
Lived in Markham before I immigrated to the US for high school. Pretty sizable asian community here (mostly Chinese) so its prob asian friendly. I don't think there is much to write off about living in Canada as it feels like living in a less crowded, french inspired, tax heavy version of the U.S. However, I would recommend visiting Canada (especially montreal).
Certainly a hot take. While it seems sad that monyet left when he just started to show some life in the team, I don't think he meshed well with PRX gameplay wise. Paper Rex is a team with problems and I don't think Monyet is the right player/person to really help lead them out because he is still a young player that got international attention in a struggling middle of the pack team in GE. Def a couple of years of tier 1 is needed until he can join a team like that and hopefully succeed.
XXiF would have been a solid pick up for C9 since EG is not going to kick their IGL.
NRG vs BLG would be absolute cinema
There's quite a bit of action in Pacific rn
give it to my sister since she's a fiend for spice LOL
Primmie has insane aim. But out of all players in 2024? Nah. He played too little to warrant that praise as best aimer.
I have a sensitive stomach so spice hurts whether or not I can handle it during consumption. The highest would probably be the korean fire noodles with half of their sauce pack LOL.
