2023 Champions Top 3
and americucks STILL underrate his team.
May yall learn some rational thinking soon 🙏😭
The point that's being made is that LOUD wasn't created from really established players in the scene, Sacy and Saadhak took players that hadn't even made international events, so why can't it be done again? aspas was just a ranked player (granted, an insanely high level one) with a few online tourneys when they picked him up, so why can't they do the same with qck?
But yeah, at face value it's a downgrade, though on the long run it may end up not being so
okay bear with me for a minute here while i put on my tinfoil hat...
i think qck was signed to LOUD not because he would be a straight replacement for aspas, but because he provides agent versatility that Saadhak wants for this new era of LOUD. if you look at the comps they ran (no sentinel on fracture, breach-fade on ascent and pearl, even though they failed a bit) it shows to me that he wants to take the team in a very crazy, maybe even PRX style direction with weird stuff.
and so maybe he recognized that aspas is literally irreplaceable and they're gonna try something different, with more versatility. maybe they even go the no duelist route with some maps in the agent pool, or lean into the Neon. who knows. my faith is in the goat chaadhak.
losing aspas is huge though, was (imo) always their best player, not exactly the same as the other losses. losing a duelist is different as well, the duelist is often the player that sets the tempo with the igl, the new duelist needs a lot of time to adjust to the way saadhak plays and calls. Im not saying they wont be as good eventually but I do expect them to struggle massively (in comparison to last year) this season especially in the early season and thats why its fair to underrate them for a while
Loud lost Pancada, the MVP of Champions 2022, still great.
Loud lost Sacy, their co-captain, still great.
why the fuck would it be different with aspas?
Also
How is any other team possibly going to outrank them?
Leviatan just imploded, its a quesion of time before they dissolve, Aspas himself is trying to get out since he went to LEV BECAUSE of Nzr
NRG has no Fns, No actual IGL, and a team that still needs to build a new system since their "IGL" never did so before nor did he do it under chet.
V0nity is just the NA murizz
G2 is not even close to LOUDs level
Boostio cant perform without Ethan and Potter AND Demon1
Kru did not upgrade at all
Mibr is ASS
Furia looks decent but not good enough to beat LOUD
The only team that looks strong enough to beat LOUD in Americas is Sentinels, but that is if the cursed org doesnt take effect

Lets not forget Loud won against Fnatic TACTICALLY, not becaus Aspas was popping off.
Louds kryptonite is Asian teams
it’s not as simple as comparing player by player. they changed structure by allowing the team to be more flexible. qck will not match aspas function exactly, he’s about to do more. tuyz and cauanzin are also not the same, they are not the childish kids you used to see, they’ve matured and tuyz himself is likely playing duelist some maps
quick is an upgrade over aspas when it comes to flexibility, yes. LOUD can potentially be better in some maps because of that, yes. quick can make the rest of the team more comfortable while picking something convenient, yes. quick will get better by playing in a structured team for the first time, yes. he'll get better by gaining the experience from world champions, yes. yes.
Whilst i agree with your take except Lev and NRG part. Loud still top 3 Americas team no doubt and theyll prove haters wrong im sure of that. However, unless LEV players are literally raging and imploding during matches/ scrims i cant imagine them not placing in at least top 4 through out year americas and they still have chance to win worlds c0m is current world champ, aspas is aspas, they have king insane player and tex whos a good consistent support player which will aid them a lot. NRG's IGL problem you think they have is practically non-existent Vic, crashies and Ethan all have CS experience where calling and mid rounding is way way harder. Ethan has consistently played at the highest level in CS and VAL has played under some insane IGL's and has been mid rounding his entire VAL career, even if he isnt a classical type IGL he still has capability and knowledge / gamesense to IGL at the highest level he also has vic crashies and chet if he needs help midgame I dont see IGL being main issue at all.
How many Brazilians will remain on this site when they fail to qualify for any international event.
Brazil looks weaker than the last two years and this is the strongest NA / Latam has ever looked.
Masters and champions have CRIMINALLY low amounts of teams. Madrid has 2 from Americas 😂.

Loud
+Whatever team is on a hot streak
That’s 5 legitimate teams fighting for 2-3 spots.
It’s a very real possibility that loud doesn’t make a tournament this year.
