so be it

but it was a very entertaining one. and i hate to admit that as a brazilian

posted 1 month ago

for real

i am still traumatized from the 11-3, but boy, i have to admit that tournament was the best val tournament i ever watched

and funnily enough, the reason why it clicked for me was exactly what most people disliked: the format. the fact it was franchise's first “kick off” did add up, but the main variables for me were the format and the fact you had too many teams participating from all around the globe. a clash of styles. chaotic.

it was not the fairest format, but it was highly entertaining. every bo3 mattered a-fucking-lot. you lose, you’re out. still warming up? you’re out. didn’t sleep well? you’re out. every match was potentially your last match. that raises up the stakes, the adrenaline, the focus

i wish we’d have a lock//in every year. same format.

it’s just a fucking JOKE that anyone has the COURAGE to open their mouth and spit chronicle is the greatest of all time

makes no sense

posted 2 months ago

yes, and Ethan is badass

aspas is the OBVIOUS goat, but it wouldn’t be the the end of the world for me if part of the community decided to consider Ethan the goat instead. at least he IGL’d his team to win the tournament. he knows how to be the protagonist. the first 2x Champions winner as well

posted 2 months ago

sure thing sentinelmain377

surely it’s not the fact it’s an absurd considering chronicle the goat

right now Ethan is a better goat contender than Chronicle

posted 2 months ago

the EMEA goat chronicle could only drop a few kills on the grand final

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

the “goat” that can never carry his team to win any tournament KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

ggs NRG boys, it was clear as day that you were gonna take this trophy home. frauds exposed

Ethan >>> Chronicle

chronicle fans btw

HOW CAN YOU WATCH THAY GUY PLAY AND SAY HES NOT THE GOAT

posted 2 months ago

idk missed it as well too focused on my work lol

posted 2 months ago

you LITERALLY don’t watch valorant esports

posted 2 months ago

that’s esports

and he broke esports number one rule. he better learn from it and accept the trashtalk

posted 2 months ago

yup mibr had a way too unusual low amount of clutches

glad you’re realistic

posted 2 months ago

as old as chronicles first international trophy (for which reason these annoying mfs claim he is the goat)

posted 2 months ago

this is a competitive game. it’s full of nuances. they bet guy could possibly leave the smoke sideways. and if they did, they probably noted the occurrence in other situations (in scrims perhaps). from our limited perspective it’s so easy to judge, but the players know what they were betting on

posted 2 months ago

the common denominator is nrg takes advantage of chaos and one tricking. people credit teams with more structured and balanced playstyle when the score is close

nrg is still great nevertheless

posted 2 months ago

aspas got 3 collats in a row in a map they stomped their enemy AND with good positioning. not to mention first shot wasnt luck, he literally micro adjusted towards both visible enemies

not saying NRG is a bad team. but it does feel for msot people mibr deserved the win more. not to mention they didn’t do anything considered one tricking (lil bro with the odin; one nerf and he would become useless)

posted 2 months ago

that’s the point

they managed to almost beat nrg after choking multiple times. not to mention NRG with the RNG (lol) / generational luck

imagine if they got their shit together

posted 2 months ago

it would be a more promising banger ngl

posted 2 months ago

i would be dishonest if i told you i aint biased. i obviously am. but i genuinely think the choice should be obvious by now
my bias makes me think the gap is larger; but the gap should be clear

posted 2 months ago

do you realize aspas started his career in 2022

that gambit won masters in the milkmen period, same period fucking ACEND won champions (jesus christ)

that aspas has gotten to at least top 3 while changing teams frequently, managing to be a protagonist in all runs

there is no comparison here. only delusional people would pick anyone over aspas

posted 2 months ago

calm down you talking as it it was likely over for us but there is a world they will sweep lower bracket and get their win on grand finals

posted 2 months ago

hopefully it’ll be different this time but yk

posted 2 months ago

and loud got punished on their last series by their own restlessness

similarly mibr will play DRX tomorrow. they’ll work their asses on the anti strat (which will tire them). last year saadhak said they were sleeping on the match and had to take some energy drinks

posted 2 months ago

mibr 2-0

posted 2 months ago

i swear to god they deserve at least top 2 man 😭

let the GF be NA vs. NA please

posted 2 months ago

technically… it was the decider map tho

NRG picked Haven 🤓

because you’re dumb. and dumb people need to be called out to stop being dumb and assuming shit they have NO IDEA about. you are NOT as knowledgeable as you think. you’re ignorant.

posted 2 months ago

it’s clear from a psychological perspective even

in fact people who need exploding after clutches are consciously or not trying to calm their owns nerves by letting it all out.
aspas never needed such a thing. and if that’s the case, aligning his own expectations and telling himself it’s not over, that he needs to keep up with that level until the last round, is a much more productive approach

people joke like “lil bro acting like it’s normal”. it SHOULD be normal, that is the objective. and that’s what he obviously tells himself

posted 2 months ago

you’re SUPPOSING that for an esports player of his CALIBER and ROLE trying to become hype merchant out of nowhere wouldn’t interfere with his performance / focus

you’re ASSUMING stuff. and for that you’re dumb

posted 2 months ago

you dumb fuck dont you think people have already talked about this with him before?

it’s NOT his personality to hype people up like that and he’s better off focusing on his shit

posted 2 months ago

oh you’re right the greatest of all time aspas, top 3 in all champions, should learn from Hobbit, he definitely knows what he’s talking about

posted 2 months ago

shut the fuck up you loser let my goat focus on his game

posted 2 months ago

!????????

reminds me of alfajer 1x2 on icebox lock//in

INDISPUTABLY THE GOAT WHATEVER HAPPENS

posted 2 months ago

aspas is indisputably the goat

“no but the scene is too n”

ASPAS GOAT

posted 2 months ago

give em the trophy already

no team would be able to stop the momentum. fnatic would be crushed on the rematch. PRX would get their revenge on lower

mibr 3x1 PRX on grand finals

posted 2 months ago

all i am gonna say is

mibr has stomped in all enemy-picked maps

posted 2 months ago

mibr stomped in all enemy map picks

posted 2 months ago

but yeah that’s the nature of the game. it’s not like league of legends where you get feeded and surf on the snowball. you have to keep up with the performance from beginning to end. we like to talk about what ifs, but it doesn’t make much sense

posted 2 months ago

same against fnatic

posted 2 months ago

aspas plays smart and you guys are used to all aim no brain

but aspas himself doesn’t expect low elo to understand

posted 2 months ago

not to mention ult points

aspas is a jett. every kill is vital for economy / clutches

posted 2 months ago

without my odin i can’t 😭😭😭😭
