Example :
LoL - Faker
CSGO - s1mple
Fortnite - Bugha
Can’t seem to think of one… Valorant just too low skill cap maybe theres no best player in the game.
ngl, I think scream or mixwell is the face in eu. The face overall I'd say is TenZ, or Tarik.
Quite a lot of people forget that the face of something isn't equal to their ingame skill, but popularity of their brand while playing the game. EU players in val dont care about themselves as a brand, as composed to what NA tend to do in game.
val is too early in regards to that. Faker spent years becoming the face through events, same as s1mple. s1mple barely used to stream CS, but became the face through years of being the best.
We'd only see someone on their calibre of impact on the game, in a few years time. Until then we're stuck with the face being the most popular, which is probably tenz atm :/
braindead mfs saying "tenz" tenz is famous because of anime csgo or whatever
"face of valorant" is someone who got famous with it and is the first pro when you think about the game
so i would say like probably nats (eu) yay(maybe sayaplayer he got really famous recently too) (na) forsaken (asia) latam (sacy/mwzera/keznit)
These are not what everyone thinks of first. We know they are very good but not everyone. Face of a game is someone everyone including people who don't follow the scene much or probably don't even watch the eSports of the game knows about the player. For example I have never seen CSGO and LoL Esports but I know simple and faker and those are the names on top of your head when you think about the scene
Yay played csgo
Saya played overwatch
Sacy played League
Keznit played csgo
Forsaken played csgo
I believe nats ans mwzera did aswell just not sure to what level.
Tenz got famous with valorant in the same way those other guys did. The difference is, whether you like ot or not, tenz is at least 5x bigger than them. The only other person who could be considered wouls be g2 mixwell for his spanish and latam fanbass
no he didnt and he isnt lmao. noone knew yay, saya, sacy, keznit and forsaken only the cheater one lul. also if your braindead point is right, tenz wouldnt be the face of valorant because he played csgo and he was literally one of the moust famous "young faceit/prodigy" players at that time, just shutup bro
bro he was literally nobody compared to who he is now. And saying that nobody knew those other players is just straight up lying, if you want to say that you didn't know them, fine, but nobody cares about that. Most of them were at one point signed professionals. I think you misunderstood my point. My point is that it doesn't matter what game they played before val, the only thing that matters is how relevant, famous they're right now. That's just how you calculate who's "the face of the game". If you go around different countries asking to random people if they know any valorant personalities, the most famous one would be tenz by a long mile, except in a few spanish speaking countries where they might say mixwell.
here's my upvote, because logic.
People might or might not like TenZ, call him whatever, washed, superstar, etc etc, but Valorant is still pretty young and this guy (i would put Mixwell up there too) was the player that put Valorant in the map. The association between the guy and the game was instantaneous.
Also "being the face" at this point doesn't mean necessarily that it has to be the better player (in fact i doubt there's a s1mple or a faker rn. Again, game's too young)
bro, this thread was from 4 months ago. I mean Mixwell was still half relevant then and Wardell was still somewhat popular. I mean currently Tenz just is the face of valorant. Most people think of SEN Tenz when they think of the pro scene, that's just how it is, like you can have your opinion, but TenZ is just the face of valorant, at least right now (Maybe Yay or Forsaken[maybe Jingg] will take over that spot, but who knows).
Rb is def one of the best, but his popularity sucks right now. I don't think he is in contention for the best player though, don't get me wrong, he's a great player, but he doesn't compare to the hyper carries of the likes of Alfajer, Yay, Derke, Aspas. He requires less resources, but that means he isn't as much of a carry, that's why I think he is great due to his flexibility, but if you want a face, Get Alfajer, Get cNed, Get Aspas, people that are the top of the scoreboard and the one to watch with the insane plays.
Simply, your take is garbage. jkjk. You seem to be a new user, so you probably don't know how popular Mixwell used to be an probably still is. He probably has like every spanish viewer's family hostage or some shit, he's a popular streamer, a great player, and was a great role model for keloqz. He just had a lot of clout and was pretty much the TenZ of Spain, and quite a bit of Europe.
For me no one yet, because (this is only my opinion) if your gonna talk about face of the game you need to see what he accomplished on this game, example on LoL is Faker because 10 time LCK Champion, 2 time MSI champion, and 3 time Worlds Champion, (I know u some of guys gonna say some of his year he got carried, this is my opinion just remembering you) so if you want to name face of Valorant you need to wait until someone got a grandslam, 3 in a row VCT Master Champions and win VCT Champions
people who aren't into val esports but know tenz are cs players, i'd have no idea who he is if not for my general interest in esports. anyone interested in it tho' will know that both players i mentioned outshine tenz nowadays, unless they are just too biased.
S1mple and from what i know Faker are both at least near the top of their respective esport, tenz is not.
