idk but gambit never felt unbeatable either. They barely beat Vikings and the Kru match was a coin toss too. 100T showed that Masters 3 Gambit is not that scary either. They had 3 good games in the playoffs and thats it

Sentinels might be #1 i think i’m a bit bias because Sentinels didn’t beat that many S tier teams as others and Fnatic was their only real opponent at Reykjavík

I put Gambit 3rd because they lost a game to 100T and got 13-0ed by Acend 2 weeks after the event + their Champions run wasn’t flawless either. Every game was 2-1 and Vikings choked 12-7

1) Acend
-won Champions without dropping a game
-most dominant run since Sentinels

2) Sentinels
-owned everyone at Reykjavík 2021
-so far only Sentinels and Acend were able to win a LAN without dropping a game
-very close second place

3) Gambit
-easily the most consistent team on the list but they were never really dominant

yes they won Iceland but in reality I feel like NA is a pretty weak region. They only have 1 good team that can compete internationally,
and the only reason they were able to win Reykjavik 2022 is because the top EMEA teams couldn’t play because of travel restrictions and Covid. So basically Optic had no competition.

also I kinda feel like this run was a bit of a fluke. They lost to Xerxia at the beginning and Loud in the upper finals so they are definitely not as strong as everything thinks but somehow they won it at the end so idk I still think FPX, prime Fnatic and even Gambit are all higher in the rankings than Optic.

I think when everything goes back to normal we will never see NA, Optic and these random teams again. I mean the last time we had everyone competing normally every NA team got grouped and they had no chance
