G2 went against trash teams in trash form
They did nothing all off season and if anything got trounced by a slightly better C9
They still look the same as last year where they had clear issues with their game plans and dealing with teams that can shoot back

but most of all
WEVE SEEN LITERALLY NOTHING IMPRESSIVE FROM THEM, like they look clean yea but they looked that way last year too and received none of this wank???

Just to clarify I dont think theyre bad but the way people are reacting to them beign dominant clean and "perfect" is way too overblown considering who it was they were going against and the plain fact that they didnt remotely get challenged. Tier 2 teams can look like this going against GC teams, doesnt mean theyll win all of Tier 1, you cant look bad if the opponents are jumping off the map

The team had a much bigger ceiling with c0m. Nzr and kingg are both igls so that would mean nzr would be purely an iniciator . In which c0m clears by dozens , nzr value is due to him being a great igl

Just because his stats are worse than his previous years, that does not he is doing his job as duelist any worse.

NA teams are transitioning their star players off of duelist onto controller or sentinel because duelists tend to need to entry first into bomb sites and end up dying early into the round. Hence, Jaw isnt meant to be the star player (player with the best stats) he is meant to create space for his team, whereas you have Trent and Leaf who are in star roles and when the team is winning, those two players will usually have the best stats.

Anyways, Jaw was a huge upgrade to an already solid core, and they are one bo3 away from making it to the first international lan of the year so why complain bro

like ive said already, theyre ALWAYS efficient, they crumble though the moment they go against teams that actually know how to shoot back because their entire structure completely crumbles.
Even going against trash teams like C9 and Lev they needed a lot of heroics to win swign rounds and thats worrying considering how horrendous those 2 teams looked

Theyve always looked fundamentally better than everyone, theyre always playing situations "perfectly" and they always look coordinated and put together, thats what most top tier teams look like when they go against teams of the level of C9 and Lev on that day.
If thats what they looked like against Loud Kru 100T or hell even MIBR Id be more readily agreeing to the best in the world statement but the reality is we CANT say anything right now because they havent faced a challenge yet. We dont know how theyre gonna react against a team that can match their calling protocols and fragging. What happens when they fall into another Champions Lev or FNC game?

Im not shutting down peoples opniions of them being a good or great team, im shutting down the irrational glaze that theyre receiving of being gods gift to valorant. Im a TG fan, I remember this happening multiple times before, it never ends well

offseason doesn’t mean as much as you think, your other concerns are ok but it’s not a stretch to say they’ve looked the best lol, sen still had shaky starts and also relied on zekken and johnqt’s heroics to bail them out of situations and as for g2 they’ve been in advantageous situations against lev for majority of the game and the only times they’ve lost were when they made small mistakes. c9 also didn’t even play that terribly vs g2, they were just hard anti stratted

that makes no sense at all, a massive portion of tejo usage comes from the playbook not on the fly use. G2 just dont have a great idea yet as to how they wanna use him, G2 has never really innovated the quickest out of any team in the past and it doesnt seem any different rn.

Also trent is a really creative initiator, he used to be that guy to look at when you wanted to see creative usage of certain util or perfect individual usage, if anything Trent should be expected to be the best on an agent like Tejo if it was up to the players to do whatever they wanted to with the utility

I have, just the same as i dont like the premature glaze, i wouldnt be bringing them down if i wasnt aware of what it was people saw in them. Frankly everything everyones been saying as to why theyre good has been the reason theyve always had high expectations. Everything people are saying will be different this year havent proven themselves to be different yet and frankly going against Lev and C9 cant prove those statements either.

If they can look just as dominant as they did against C9 and Lev in this coming SEN match (as long as sen doesnt shit the bed) then ill be aboard the hype train and hyping them up to start a dynasty

idk, they all look at their peak performance, have good execs, reclears, defaults, contacts, team comps, team synergy, energy, they haven't lost a map, they adapt to different playstyles and teams, they can rely on their teammates, and not to mention, all the players are insanely good at the game
