ive seen so many instances on VLR where people preach anti-racism and the people who are racists get instantly flamed and downvoted, except when it comes to the french
ive seen many cases in which there are many racist/xenophobia comments towards the french and it seems to be normalized, guy said that all french ppl should be executed and it got like 20 something upvotes
this should not be normal, no? being racist/xenophobia, no matter to what race, still makes u a racist, doesnt matter black, asian, french, or whatever
the people who puts their shining white armor and play good guy to defend racism but turns around and hate on other races are no better than racists, yall are in the same group

I see what you're talking about, but I think it's important to distinguish between culture and race. Stereotyping on genetics is asinine, and should always be pointed out for what it is.

It's another thing when talking about culture. Culture is by choice. To a certain extent culture is self-propagating so there is some leeway, but at the end of the day an adult can make their own decisions. I do dislike aspects of french culture, but to dive into that would be entering "politics" territory so I'm not going to.
