  1. I have been working at the hospital for the pat 3 years without renewing my certificate and none of my superiors have known (it expired 2021)
  2. I have almost died 3 times in the same year from 3 different causes, first is an allergic reaction to a bug bite (do this day I have no clue what type of bug it was), drowning, and an attack from a lion (kinda exaggerating it just ran and chased me before getting tranquilized) at a zoo in Jordan
  3. I have never been honest when asked what I ate that day (I enjoy lying a little too much)
#40
cloudberry
1
Frags
+

I'm kinda concerned that you're treating people without valid certification, or that you haven't gotten allergy testing yet to figure that out. But that's nothing next to getting chased by a lion. Like what.

#46
Prancer
1
Frags
+

I mean I can take the test I just don't want to pay 300 dollars because my hospital is supposed to cover it but they refuse, I'm also only a medical assistant so the most treatment I've done is like doing a blood sugar test. Most of my work is administer/paperwork. I scheduled to renew it in September so I don't go to jail.

Speaking of getting chased by a lion that reminds me of the time that I was walking home and got jumped by like 6 middle schoolers when I was like 11ish in Jordan. Mfs genuinely ran after me for like 100 meters or some shit they didn't leave me till I got to the mosque that's like 2 blocks away

#52
cloudberry
1
Frags
+

Interesting. Also damn, what'd you do to get half a dozen rowdy kids chasing you?

(P. S. I swear I hear about the wildest things from Jordan, I have a couple Jordanian friends and they all have multiple brutal, illegal, or near-death childhood experiences for some reason)

#58
Prancer
1
Frags
+

I don't remember it 100%, but they had this like big stage in the middle of the street and I was going to the bakery to get some bread so I walked in front of it and they were like yelling slurs and shit but I didn't mind because I've heard worse. On my way back I take the same route and they got passed for some reason and started throwing shit and chasing. When i got home I instantly forgot about it because my mom brought the expensive desserts from the Capitol and my fat ass ate the entire thing in one sitting.

This is all super interesting, wow. Kinda wonder what stocks you lost $10K on, because that's a hefty amount of cash

#45
Nachtel
1
Frags
+

stock options are a contract to buy or sell a stock at a certain price at a specific date regardless of what that stock's price actually is at the time of the contract's completion. you can either sell the contract itself or execute the contract to buy stocks at a bargain and make money from the differential

basically i bought a contract to sell the stock at a price wayyyy off from what it actually was that had a deadline like a day after I bought it and the price of the contract went down to 0 almsot immediately lol--and I didn't actually own any of the stocks so since I couldn't sell the contract I couldn't sell the stocks at a bargain either lol

Main three (with some resemblance of a rating system) were:

Arcaea: I peaked 12.55 potential which had a two-star ranking, the highest rank before they added a three-star ranking (In Valorant terms imagine if I peaked Radiant in EP 4 before they added the Ascendant rank and I hovered around Immortal 2-3 ever since)

Bandori: Didn't have a skill rating system but they had events where you played to earn as many points as possible. One of those events I got rank 27. I'm able to FC pretty much all but 2 songs.

osu! (on PC): I peaked rank 7670 last year farming overinflated long maps and won two tournaments where I did nothing lol

Also yeah rhythm games flat out suck on phones, literally every pro player I met was either on an iPad or saving up for one

...imma need you to explain this one to me. How do you hit your head underneath a portable house?

#131
smthlikeyou11

it was lifted like supported by wooden beams, although not very high, only like 5ft of space i think? and it was at a field trip to like a historical museum and there were boats underneath the house, like small canoe sized boats. so me and my friends decided to climb the boats and when we came out i felt an itch on my head, i scratched it i took my hand back and it was full of blood, to my surprise im more surprised that it didnt hurt i was expecting a head injury to hurt a lot more. I was rushed to the hospital after that

Yikes. I've gotten injuries like that where you don't feel as much pain as you should; iirc that usually means your nerves got damaged and couldn't send the signal to your brain that you were in pain. Glad you were okay, though

Question about that last one: I have a lot of qualities commonly related of autism (e.g. hyperfixations, social difficulty, preservative thinking), but I've never been tested for it and I don't know how to. I know it can be a bit of a sensitive topic, but if you don't mind sharing, how did you find out you had autism + how did you get it verified?

  1. I lost my virginity at school because we were curious and we got suspended because we accidentally broke a gym equipment and when they tried to find the culprit they saw us on the cctv entering the storage room. Either way, she ended up moving school because her father doesn't want me anywhere near her. I still remember how her father look at me when we were called in by the principal.

  2. During highschool, I have a field trip in Melbourne and there is this camping site in Wilson promontory next to a lake and near the sea. While everyone was glamping in a big tent or RV. My school give us a bunch of small tents. Since the store is closed, I was hungry and tried cooking some Indomie with a portable stove. But they told me that I can't cook outside due to the high chance of causing bushfire. So I cook inside the tent and the Temperature inside was a whooping 56°C ( we did this during the summer when the temp was 43°C ). Idk how but my sleeping bag got caught on fire and I ended up burning the sole of my feet trying to extinguish the fire. That day I ended up sleeping with a burned feet and no sleeping bag while the temp went down to 16°C. So I was freezing and burned at the same time.

Let’s say a company wants to acquire another company, how does it do so in the right way? They want to expand their operations to another country e.g. currently only active in Europe and want to enter the US market, how can they do this? They are losing money and need to figure out how to turn this around and make a profit again, how do they do it?

Typically, these are scenarios that a company goes through only once every few years, so it often makes no sense to appoint someone fulltime to think about these things. A strategy consultancy firm will go through the same scenarios with many different firms constantly, and therefore have a better understanding of what works and doesn’t work for similar companies.

We tend to work with the C-suite or upper management of a company to help them achieve their goals.

As a senior manager, my role is to maintain client relationships, help shape deals with the clients, assemble our teams so that we have the right skills to tackle the problem at hand and make sure the project achieves its goals and is of a high quality that justifies the price tag.

Makes sense?

It makes sense , thank you!

Wow, that sounds like a hard job. what degree is needed for the job?
Sounds like a lot of analysis is needed, to what extent has computer or technology related helped your work?

It depends on the country and “tier” you work for.

The top 3 strategy consultancy firms known as MBB (McKinsey, Bain & Company, BCG) tend to accept almost exclusively MBA students from the top business schools in the world.

Then you’ve got other firms including the big 4 (Accenture, PwC, EY, Deloitte, Capgemini, etc) that will tend to accept degrees in business (usually MBA not necessary), but that can vary depending on which “branch” of consultancy you’re in, you could be a techy and go into technology consulting, or even technology strategy consulting for example.

And then there’s a whole range of boutique and smaller firms of which I’ve got no clue what you need to get in.

To your question on technology/computer: in this day and age, almost every single consultancy project has at least some element of technology involved, so knowing tech is always a big plus.

For analysis etc, I’m not going to lie, I tend to simply boot all my needs to one of our teams in India or Eastern Europe and let them deal with it for me, it’s cheaper for the client to let them do this rather than someone based in the West anyway

1 - I almost lost my arm to a metal chair, thankfully it only fucked up my shoulder region and today I cant feel pain in my armpits and side shoulder

2 - I once got run over by an ATV Quadricycle, (the four wheel motocross bike), the funny thing is, I was the one driving it.

3 - As a kid I managed to fall on a rock chin first making a wound that exposed the bone, but because there was no anesthesia on the place I was (we were camping) the emt had to stitch it without it. I still get shiver from the pain

Don't worry, I also suck at every game I've ever played—and it's a broad spectrum too, ranging from VALORANT to Geometry Dash to Brawlhalla of all things.
As for that second one, I've never heard of that kinda thing. Is it a condition or just a side effect of the treatment?

Can't stay injury free for like more than 6 months.
2.I spent 6 months last year admitted in the psychiatry ward.
3.I wanna go into psychology field so I can help people who are like me to not go through shit I went through.

That's very very commendable of you. I used to have the same aspirations but I decided the field wasn't for me; I need something tangible I can put my hands to work on :)
