and second, why not just give them the benefit of the doubt? demon1 was available every year before 2023 but that was the year he actually got a chance to prove himself in tier 1. And there are countless examples of supossedly "good" players not performing due to issues relating to the team as a whole. Mel or other gc players could perform exceptionally better if around other non gc pros. Main point being top gc players are still deserving of chances to prove themselves just as much as any other non gc player.
We will never know how good a pro is in a certain team untill it actually happens
