I think rolequeue is a good thing, few patch ago we were really close from an equivalent of Goats meta (No duelists, 2 ini, 2 smokes and sometimes even 3 smokes), at some point it will become a necessity as it was on OW, and as it was on LoL. But the actual game may have issue to work with 4 roles and 5 players, it may require to rework the role categories and/or just class some agent into 2 categories.
Also some people may be bored about having to fill smoke every single games, so it's another good reason to make a rolequeue.
Here is gonna be an unpopular opinion : Sentinels are bad for the game, Sage, DL and Chamber are even not real sentinels, and KJ and Cyph are horrible to play against and not really popular to play, I'm not even sure they can create a real sentinel anymore, last one was in season 1 (we will see if the next agent that will probably be a sent will change somethin). The game is basically planned for having 5 people that cover plus a bot, so reworking Sentinel into senitnels may mean the lack of bot, force us to go to 6v6, so after reworking Sage into a secondary smoker (Her wall is basically used as a supra smoke on icebox after all), give DL active vision (It would synergize a lot with her ult), Turn Chamber into a Real duelist, and probably rework KJ and Cypher into reveal
If you go 6v6 and put sentinels into other categories, then you can make a 2-2-2, if they are too many duelists, they you can force them to pick another of 2 roles once every 4/5 games, soloqueue will be healthier, and proplay will feature 2 duelist that may be more fun to watch, and allow more possibility since the site with sent is the site that nobody want to avoid.
You gonna say OW2 went to 5v5, but lets be honest it's a complete failure and may even be reverse, the 2-2-2 create some complicity between the people that share a role, and amazing interrations
