Depends on where you want to overheat for the site hold and whether you have any lurk players. Usually A link is a better spot to push so I'd smoke C link
This is a very abstract question but it's initiator imo. Yeah controller has big impact over the pace of a round but initiator diffs are brutal to overcome
We can all agree senti is the least though
Yes they are flashy but frankly it takes a lot more raw talent to be a good duelist than a good ini/controller, when it comes to players that are already of a pro caliber.
Most of these guys can learn to master utility, coordination, optimal timing, etc. but a duelist has to make very quick decisions and win more uncomfortable duels to stand out.
Why the hell should Breach never be played like come on now this is just being hyperbolic or contrarian for engagement
Yeah I mean the other three classes all have more problems
There's no solution because there's no problem. Skye is viable without recharging utility.
If anything should be done at all, it's just to revert the nerfs to dog and ult that were made before she lost the recharging flash.
The problem is that having any cooldown at all further encourages the "use a flash immediately at round start for info" that was kinda overstepping from her role, since she still has a second flash to use for site while recon initiators only have one dart/eye charge
And yet some teams still run her as solo initiator, and never Gekko, on Bind and Split. She's fine.
I'd just like to have ult be 7 points or revert the dog nerf if anything
I want both of them to win
is this a talk to me reference
League is also a Riot game. It just looks shady to have pro players on a franchised team making money from bets, regardless of the specifics
I got out of plat with like 0.9 k/d lol it's diamond that took me a lot longer
Look at the data on vstats.gg
Regardless of the map, even at asc+, Clove, Iso, and Neon are always in the top 6 winrates, and frequently are simply the top 3
Yes if someone wants to play in tournaments they should learn the right agents and tech. But the average player, especially at low ranks, will get way more mileage picking an agent they are comfortable taking fights on and fragging out rather than filling for the team
Yeah it sucks but if they don't listen then you just adapt to them. Don't be afraid to bait
Is this not in the same vein as insider trading? Even if it's League, it's still a Riot game, and it would set a bad precedent to allow players to bet on teams in a game their own org also competes. Gambling sponsors have nothing to do with this.
The initiator and controller metas, with a decent harbor buff, are pretty solid.
It feels like the first time maybe ever that a lot of maps can be run either as double initiator or double controller depending on what a team values more. There's no one initiator or one controller who is so good that the other class is always doubled up
Smoggy updraft dash ult off the map at A main was hilarious, and the map was still new then
Yeah it's probably better to search vods by agent+map rather than a specific pro, if anyone is doing that. And some scenarios don't even happen much in radiant lobbies lol
If the matches for one team are at least a few days apart it's fine. I see what you mean, but the first-to-lose team having a slight advantage over the second-to-lose team in preparation time doesn't seem that important when the whole point of the lower bracket is to offer a second chance after losing.
Also, doesn't the second-to-lose team get a very slight advantage of potentially rematching the team that beat them, while the first-to-lose team never got that experience?
What you're suggesting works well too. If I understand it correctly, it also means the upper bracket advances earlier than the lower bracket, which is a better viewing experience. I like to see which teams are confirmed for top 4 before we see teams start to get eliminated.
Ranked winrate doesn't mean shit. Sage, Deadlock, and Phoenix are regularly near the top, even in immo, but do you really think those three are the best agents in their class?
Skye got nerfed because she made the meta not diverse fym
Is it really worth it to cook the Skye flash like that? The audio queue gives away so much when just popping it instantly out of a smoke is nearly undodgeable
is kinda crazy now like he really farms in solo queue
I wish he'd be used in pro play as a pseudo flash initiator like Yoru but that probably still won't happen much
Are we talking ranked or pro here?
I think what really sets him apart at the pro level is that his utility has unlimited range. He can recon the opposite site for defensive support (especially useful on Ascent/Breeze) and drone will always get information, even if broken, whereas there's some spots that enemies can simply be too far for a Fade dog to detect (especially a problem on Pearl)
Riot will probably wait for the new initiator before doing any balancing on these two, but I'd guess they need to slightly buff Fade's threat level within her effective range. I'd like to see the eye last an extra 1s longer or something
Initiator is the most balanced class right now though
She was only nerfed so that running her as solo initiator is a significant tradeoff for double senti/controller
She's absolutely viable, and teams still run her, though she could use a very minor buff
Considering the team that loses their first match is now one match away from elimination, I wouldn't say it's unfair that they have more time to prep for one match. The team that goes through all of the upper bracket also has more time to prep for grand finals.
Also, not trying to be rude, but I know English isn't your first language. "Lose" is the word you are trying to use. "Loose" is an adjective with a different meaning.
For once it doesn't feel like there's a thousand bum teams except my flair
What cloudberry said but also I would really appreciate if alt-fire on high tide let you start the wall from a remote point
The fact that all of his utility uses his own position as a starting point is an awkward limitation for what is supposed to be the most flexible controller
I agree. A slight nerf would've been fine but this arguably makes her worse than her pre-buff state
This type of heavy, risky balancing was fair for Iso, who had actually zero relevance in pro play and was new enough to not have longtime players, but I feel bad for all the diehard Neon mains who went through this rollercoaster
Dude there is simply no map design that would stop people from playing main unless the spike was literally not exposed to main whatsoever, which would also get so many complaints (and probably be horribly defender sided if the plant site was that far away)
Minimap pings giving you perfect crosshair placement for spam through smoke simply isn't fun or conducive to the game being played skillfully
this is literally a consequence of how much people yapped about post-plant meta
regarding the second point tho yeah i agree there should still be something visible from crosshair pov if not an exact ping point
knew someone gonna say some shit like this
good idea thank you
i do feel bad for the fishies stuck in the gun tho
this is literally how i cope my ranked games when i play support and go double negative
it's my favorite gun but i have sensitive ears and the shooting sound hurts
rn i have spectrum which isn't bad but i'm wondering if y'all know any better ones
Leviatán just to prove how much you're not an aspas bandwagoner
hot take but I like 2G's logo we were missing a purple spacey vibe
