I agree for the most part but one thing that has to be taken into account is Waylay's release.

She seems made for Keznit's playstyle and so I would be very surprised if KRÜ chokes again. Even someone like DGZ with heavy awp usage might find ways to take super aggressive peeks with Refract.

  • Harbor: bad
  • Gekko: niche/mediocre
  • Deadlock: niche/mediocre
  • Iso: mediocre (don't let Meteor fool you)
  • Clove: bad
  • Vyse: good
  • Tejo: good (but overrated)

What power creep? Most agents are far worse now than they were 3 years ago or on the game's release.

Controller assists =/= initiator assists

20 is still crazy tho

Glazing them like one

they beat lulquid and shitinels on haven let's not get ahead of ourselves here

posted 5 days ago

Okay but you can say this about many teams that are dominant at any given moment and end up falling off, let alone one that hasn't won multiple trophies (or even a single one) yet.

posted 5 days ago

Never. Like #6 said.

Map bans serve the purpose you think agent bans do.

posted 5 days ago

Once again, people acting like G2 are some unbeatable pinnacle of valorant because they have nerdge playbooks.

EDG already can beat them. They've made top 3 with everyone on the team except Chichoo underperforming. This team throws one Bo3 and everyone starts acting like they're in Madrid form.

Besides them and T1, any high-level team that dedicates time to counter-stratting is gonna have a shot. It could be DRX, it could be VIT, it could be 100T, hell even a peak game from KRÜ or Loud or something.

Let's wait till any roster wins three trophies before acting like they're unstoppable.

Nice try. I play recon and smokes (and suffering)

I like Reyna players actually, they usually know what it takes to win and will have the confidence to go for risky plays with you.

It's the Iso mains that are little shits though. Too scared to play Reyna so they just look for easy shield crutch fights and then blame their team every chance they get.

Oh nvm what

posted 6 days ago

I think they also lost against FPX last year but yeah

posted 6 days ago

EDG is maybe the most comfortable team itw in Bo5s

posted 6 days ago

Let's start with getting a job

posted 6 days ago

EDG because we need the Bo5 tiebreaker

posted 6 days ago

What is with G2 fans and acting like they're the only good team? Quit trying to be the gifted kid and stay humble.

posted 6 days ago

With the mud fest emea is rn it's totally possible

posted 6 days ago

KRÜ and Talon will be back

posted 6 days ago

FURIA

posted 6 days ago

so they're not good

posted 6 days ago

Well Smoggy is smokes to begin with. Chichoo just plays Omen/Astra/Viper in no-senti comps. But whoever's most comfortable would work.

posted 6 days ago

Does not matter in ranked, just play whoever you're most comfortable on

posted 6 days ago

If EDG learns to play retake against eco buys they will 3-0 both teams I'm dead serious

posted 6 days ago

KRÜ would've made Bangkok playoffs!

posted 6 days ago

atp EDG should cut the crap and just run KK Neon + Chichoo Iso on Lotus

posted 6 days ago

EDG for real. They represent everything fun about valorant

posted 6 days ago

Lulquid might have the most potential tbh if they replace one of the kamymokyko or whatever players

posted 6 days ago

I'll amend my statement to just Haven then, but also Lotus makes sense to hide because they might be running a new comp. The Clove/Omen they ran in kickoff felt like a temporary carryover from champs. We haven't seen them play either map since Tejo released.

posted 6 days ago

I genuinely think they're just hiding at least one of Lotus or Haven. They've been frying on those maps.

posted 6 days ago

Taiwan, Ecuador, southern Mexico, and Spain.

Also revisit Puerto Rico cuz I haven't been since I was a little kid and didn't appreciate it enough.

posted 6 days ago

It's not really a role thing either though. The nature of ranked (esp. solo queue) means that you should be looking for first engagements regardless of who you're playing.

posted 6 days ago

I guess the thinking is that G2 is good at rematches but still shit at Bo5s idk

posted 1 week ago

The only upset is T1 eliminating DRX. Everything else is a pretty ordinary result so far

It is weird that they all three have EDG losing UF and then winning the GF rematch tho

Only when EDG played

G2 was terrified of Less now imagine how they'll play against goatchoo and king king after getting wiped last time

EDG vs T1 felt like upper bracket match and this one feels like lower bracket match?

G2 looks so scared

looks greasy

posted 1 week ago

Yeah and we don't even know what their Lotus comp will be, since they've had so much time to change it if they wanted to. They're hiding it for a reason.

Tejo playbook brainrot

also they haven't even played Lotus or Haven at Bangkok yet
