What agents do u play in ranked

I dont reallyplay ranked as much anymore but kinda wanna get back into it, I peaked asc but I have no clue how
basically im asking how many agents I should know how to play, cause some people say literally play everything and others say play only 1 agent and dodge every game u get outinstalocked

Sova for the most part, I used to play a lot of cypher but the higher my elo gets the harder it is to play him effectively, I play jett or neon when a duelist is needed but I don´t trust my aim that much tbh. I´d say sova, cypher and gecko, I just like giving info to the team since most of the time when I play duelist my teammates won´t do that for me.

I'm a KJ main so mostly KJ. My 4 most played agents in comp are KJ, Cypher, Viper, and Chamber. Its good to know how to play at least 1 or 2 agents for each role in case you need to fill.

i play omen, chamber, gekko and sometimes clove. Oh and yoru on split cause he is so fun

i play anything except duelist (altho i can fill that role, just really not my preference)

as to what you should do, just do what you like the most. im a huge nerd for macro and shit so whatever i pick i end up igling my team regardless, and people appreciate you more if you fill and know how to play the role.

on the other hand i'd rather have somebody play the agent they know even tho it might be a "suboptimal" comp, than forcing people to play 1 ini 1 duelist 1 controller 1 senti and an extra

If you are solo queuing, do yourself a favor and play an agent that not only helps the team, but can be played selfishly.

a real answer is that ranking up its good to only play your most comfortable agent

before i hit immortal i was so big on only playing agents i like and dodging games where i cant play a role i like

after hitting immortal i wanted to improve for real and now i play any role. i never instalock but i do have some preferred agents who ill sometimes try and grab. i also dont just play any role, but i try to play the best agents in that role. so instead of picking skye on icebox because i like her ill play something better like sova

I switch between Sova and Fade depending on the map. On Ascent (plz remove from game) I play both

Gekko - Breeze, Sunset!, Icebox!, Bind!
Raze - Breeze!, Lotus!, Sunset!
Clove - Breeze!, Icebox!

it is not the agent, but... I play mostly viper/astra/omen, but I do like any controller or iniciator. I rather be the lurker (people don't lurk right or are stupid enough to always go 5-man stack and stay 30s on the same spot, giving the whole map to the other team)

I'm shit at the game (bronze2) and I generally play senti/viper, idk I'm slow and those agents fit whatever my playstyle is

i can play every agent im really good on jett but i dont play her anymore it feels very tiring playing her and im good on flex wether on viper kj cypher on sova kayo gekko too and smokes so i will play anything

omen viper cypher kj skye kayo gekko (so much gekko lol) fade (very rare now) brim (bind only) sova (sunset only for now) breach astra (very rare) and raze if im feeling spicy.

Mostly play Jett, Raze but also fill to Fade, KAY/O, Viper, KJ, and Chamber.
