VCT Roster Tracker on Twitter suggests that EG may have been planning roster changes pre-playoffs. What do ya'll think? If it’s true, who would most likely be dropped?
then whats different from stage 1 if you do the exact same format but redrawn?
How does stage 2 play out? Is it teams from Alpha playing against Omega? I'd appreciate some explanation.
Thats what I'm saying but EG won 3 times with this comp
No way they change their comp this late in the game, they'll run the same comp
EG’s current comp on Lotus with Yay on Clove feels pretty weak, especially when compared to a setup with Breach. Yet somehow, they've managed to win three times on Lotus and only lost once during Stage 1. On the other hand, G2’s Lotus looks even stronger, with a higher win rate overall. Since it’s the best map for both teams, it’s very likely to get picked. Do you guys really think EG can pull off another win with this comp?
you cant be the best player every year, and this is just kickoff. give him some time to adjust
Right, what clippers should I use guys?
G2 came back from an 11-2 lead to heretics, don't always trust the obvious
Neither of these seem like valid excuses, especially since they dominated the next two maps. Even if they weren’t prepared, the massive round differential on the first map was unacceptable.
ya'll this might be the riskiest one I've done
yes but one thing I've learnt is to not always go for the obvious choice, GM took a map off a grand finalist team so they still have a pretty good chance
i also have FUT over VIT but I'm not gonna risk it since its a good matchup
Just for the record, I've promised to go bald three times for different matches, and every single one has ended in my favour.
bro I will never lose, i did the same for eg and look what happened...
he basically gave dfm a lifeline to save themselves
mark my words, apeks will lose and flor wont top frag
I agree to an extent. Being both fast and precise is definitely ideal, especially at the top level. My point was more about the trade-offs when you can’t achieve both. If someone lacks the mechanical skill to aim fast and precise, calm aim can still get the job done effectively in those situations.
He still plays with calm aim even if he's upped his sens. Its his style.
I wouldn’t say it’s worse, more like it’s on the same playing field. Calm aim offers more precision, while flashy aim focuses on securing the kill faster. Neither is inherently better than the other—Yay is a great example of this balance
I agree, but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s "dying." A lot of players had flashy aim a few years ago. I’d say those who had noticeably calm aim back then are now playing with either semi-calm aim or leaning more towards flashy, as you mentioned
current yay still still has calm aim tho
top 5 acs, no one cares about assists. he was lurking anyway.
he's mid but hes t1 mid which is far better than sym's performance
It would be chaotic at first if your main initiator or smoker gets banned, but that’s the fun part. Teams must adapt and practice different comps, making the pro scene unpredictable and exciting
A few weeks ago, his bio reads, "Professional VALORANT player for ??????????". Now, suddenly, it's down to just two question marks: "Professional VALORANT player for ??". The question marks might be a hint—a placeholder teasing us about his new team. "??" = EG.
im not even an aspas fan but this was the ONLY good performance from kangkang that had impact
