Mibr map pool was shit during the whole split1. They had icebox (100% wr, 5 games) and maaaybe split. All the other maps were trash. This is just a showcase that nothing changed (actually it did: icebox got worse).

dude, for players it is about the prize money. The lifespan of a player is less than 5 years (and he has to be top tier to keep himself on tier 1), so any 100k prize is a lot. Imagine 100k for latam/br team player, it is 560k on BR real now. This shit means a lot.

For people watching? It depends. If you support a team that won masters, but not champs, prob you will say they are basically the same (ie: optic vs loud). For how long the title matters? split1 will matter if g2 lose on masters? Did it matter to loud winning 2023 split 1 and losing masters?
