refresh rate will help u a bunch and will make the experience far more enjoyable and smoother.
it will not improve your aim nor movement mechanics tho
mostly i would say more refresh rate will help you gather more information on the screen than before
190 - 220 ms, 90% of the time its 210ms. Immortal 50rr , yea i haven't played in a week, yea i bottom frag 50% of my games, yea i'm a rat, yea i play almost the same if i go on a smurf, yea i wonder every day if i could be radiant if my reaction time was better but at least im better than 95% of people in this game and thats a fact. 240hz
i was plat - diamond 1 with 144hz a few months ago but idk if it was 240hz that boosted me but i did play a lot more when i got 240hz
edit: bruh im seeing 180ms and gold 3 like bro.. wtf how are you not radiant already
Dumb mindset. with time/training anyone can aim and get to a high rank with a low reaction time
Maybe they don’t have tons of time or want to aim train? Dumb ass mindset
well that is your own choice? im not telling you to put in time but thats what it takes
i started in silver in overwatch as my first fps game 1500 sr. after 2 years of free time on my hands (after school) i reached masters
so you started in GM? or did you start in silver or gold? my point is it takes time to get better lol
i started diamond and took my like 4 months to climb while in school, it really wasnt about improving a lot for me. It was more about actually having the time
first try : 247
second : 195 (i acidently clicked one and get a 71 )
Third and last :211
And 60 hz
190-195 on 60hz lmao
im silver 3 rn peaked gold 2
i have pretty good mechanics for a support main but idk i've been in mid elo since the start of time
210
240hz but it’s a laptop, it only gets like 90fps
Silver 1 bc my aim is terrible bc I refuse to use aim trainers
u can go into the range for 10 mins before playing, it helps a lot, at least for me.
Aim trainers is only train your raw aim what you should do practice in rage with the moving targets with that way you will also gain a huge recoil control in no time
175 ms, 177 ms, 186 ms
144 Hz
Gold 3 ( i don’t play solo tho, 5 stack with lower ranks)
190 avg
240hz
p2
the monitor actually makes a difference lmao i had 60hz and it was always above 200ms
It's alr man... Jcruel played on 60 hz he was pro... just keep trying maybe one day you will be gold like myself
Anyone younger than 40 who says they are held back by their reaction time from hitting immo/radiant are coping with their own lack of practice.
Reaction time comes into play two times when aiming - the time it takes to realize that your crosshair is not on target and the time it takes to correct a microflick after making a big flick.
So it is a very small part of how many shots you can consistently hit.
Perfect crosshair placement and good reads on enemy are the deciding factor.
For pros it might have some small impact but u can still overcome it. Look at s1mple
while it does matter to have good/decent reaction time, it's not all about it
there's timing and aim involved in it, if hypothetically this one player is always right at where to aim and never or rarely ever has to flick, theres little to no reaction time involved aside from recognizing a target in front of you and shooting it.
Take nAts for instance, man is lurking like a 5head most of the time and catches a lotta enemies from the back. Does it involve reaction time? Well, yeah but not quite.
190-220 ms
144hz
d1 currently, last act i climbed from being p1 to peaking d2
185 first average
160 second average
134 third average
p3 rn reaction time doesnt = rank cuz my aim is dogwater so reaction time means nothing if ur gonna miss
u can literally take your time to aim and you will be better. most people just need to think. how do i win this game and they will win it. its not hard in lower ranks.
