Not really this tournament has been super competitive which is good for the scene regardless of what teams won.
Ok so current best team in NA is Envy
FNS: Plays KJ Viper and Cypher depending on the map
Marved: Has experience playing every smoker but has been on fulltime Astra because she's strong in the meta rn
Crashies: Plays Sova/Viper depending on map
Victor: Played Raze and Skye at Berlin
Yay: Played Jett fulltime at the event because she's incredibly strong, (So did d3ffo)
This is literally one team in NAfrom the last 60 days and they each play 2-3 agents each unless they're on an agent like Jett that is a meta pick on every map.
best - 180
Average - 200-220
rank - D3 (Immortal 5000 peak)
144hz
I have adhd so my reaction times are kinda ass
Ok how is Russia in South East Asia
Of all the cracked duelist mains in the NA scene, was Roca the only one that wanted to sign with EG? He's not a bad player his agent pool just consists of one agent.
Phantom is just better imo, first shot accuracy over Vandal rng any day.
He came back March 11th, Masters Reykjavik was accounced March 1st. A lan was announced and Sentinels offered for him to sub in with the ability to start the qualifying process for the first international Lan and he jumped on it.
TenZ made a bad decision with signing such a long contract with C9, but the assumption that he "left when the going got tough" Is kind of misleading, seeing as how he stuck with C9 for all of 2020 and they never got a first place finish at an A-tier event, and benched himself to pursue content creation, noting that he'd consider coming back for Lans. He did exactly that, just with Sentinels.
How many Brazilian teams are left in the tourney xD
Pretty much. One bad map from Soulcas and people are overreacting saying he needs to be dropped, just like First Strike.
Zombs is an ex-apex/overwatch player. Sentinels has won several tournaments.
Why do people think V1 vs Liquid was a blowout? The last map went really poorly but the first two maps were really close and if 2-3 rounds had gone differently Liquid would have 2-0'd V1. The last map they completely fell apart but they're now in the lower bracket and have time to see what they did wrong and improve.
Ah yes best argument "Me angry stop talking wahhhh"
Cry harder
Absolutely fucking delusional. EU got out-aimed, out-brained, and aren't nearly as good as they thought they were.
JammyZ will probably go to a top roster looking to get stronger after iceland since his stonks are through the roof. Basically every org would want him. Most likely pickups would probably be Envy, TSM, 100T, IMT.
These games are so good I love this game <3
Vikings haven't played against Viper on Icebox in a minute or maybe even at all. They'll probably adjust after this game, but today they're just being copped out by individual skill.
It's 7 brits both Fnatic and Team Liquid have British coaches.
He's probably benched to look for options on his own at a bigger org.
Playing with Sherrif is more fun than playing with Guardian
My bad brother I forgot :(
I'm sure tailored was a good friend and presence to the players but their strats and basic fundamentals have been awful, hopefully they can pick up a good coach (Maybe have Cutler transition to a coaching role if he is interested/good at it), but overall TSM just need to work on fundamentals. I believe either LG or IMT did trading and positioning drills over and over just to get basics perfect, which would be a great help to TSM. Sidenote: Sentinels before they picked up TenZ had the best fundamentals in NA and their trading is especially amazing, with the TenZ pickup it has been slightly thrown out because of his over-aggressive peeking style and doesn't seem to comm much when he's in game (or at least doesn't seem to in the sen comms video).
TLDR; Fundamentals and comms is what makes a team far more consistent, which is something that Sentinels' core has been very good at for a long time, and TSM has consistently lacked good Fundamental gameplay.
Literally EG +JCStani +Nature +Dicey/Rara/Someone would be a pretty great team.
Honestly keep Wardell and Brax drop everyone else, including coach tailored
Possible pick ups: Tarik, AZK, Dicey, Makkaloff, Rara, Player1, NaturE, C0M, Derrek.
If Sentinels V1/C9 make it through, expect NA to get bodied at Iceland, Team Liquid might hard choke instantly if they make it through. Fnatic is pretty solid and imo the best team in Europe rn. Gambit is sexy af, and Oxygen is pretty meh losing 2-0 to Fnatic and then winning vs Futbolists and Guild, who aren't world class. Nuturn is a great team, as is Damwon (Although Damwon has had an easier run of the bracket avoiding both TNL and VS). SEA or Japan teams might surprise some people. To me the top 4 would probably be something like GL Fnatic Gambit/Liquid/Vikings and Nuturn or a SEA team.
I'm not a TSM fan but I will say that for Jett players there's 3 things you need to look at
Wardell is a better Opper and has better Jett Utility than Tenz, but Tenz is a slightly worse opper, slightly better rifler, and has meh utility. Wardell is super inflexible but it fits with his team since he's the only person that fits that role. The reason TSM has been failing is because they don't play tactically and don't get bailed out by their mechanics. The difference between Zombs/Dapr/Sick and Drone/Cutler/Subroza/Hazed/Brax is super apparent. TSM is inconisistent because their "peripheral players" are far weaker than Sentinels. I'd also like to say that Shaz is a better Jett opper than Tenz by a good margin and forcing Shahz onto Sova almost every map does hurt Sentinels. Jett is the best role to onetrick since she's the best opper and a must pick for almost every team.
That was a long ramble. TL;DR, Wardell isn't a onetrick (his Sova is his only other good agent) but he plays a role that can only be effectively filled by that one agent, so he's also the only Jett player on TSM. Also his rifling is very underrated.
Fuck it I'm saying it. Tenz is the last player I'd want on a roster. His playstyle is way too likely to fall apart at international events, and his lack of flexibility is damaging to how good a roster can be. The most value you get out of TenZ is putting him on Reyna or Jett every map, which isn't going to work in the long run. ten times out of ten I'd choose a player like SiCk or Asuna or Victor.
WHY DOES EVERY TEAM IN NA WHIFF ON SENTINELS, EVERY SINGLE ONE JUST STARTS AIMING WITH THEIR BIG TOE
Why does nobody in Valorant know how to fucking shoot at Sick
this is why beb0p is the smartest person on this site
3-2 Fnatic
They aren't even turning heads anymore, nobody cares about EG in Valorant rn.
I'd personally rather - Osias and Potter instead of Clawdia.
If it's any consolation while Ange1 plays the smoker role on FPX, he does a fair bit of entrying for the team.
They barely anti-stratted Sentinels, the reason they won was because they played good textbook Valorant and their fundamentals during the game was incredibly solid, and Sentinels looked painfully off-form.
Not bad I'd personally like too see Wardell on the Jett, Drone on the Duelist, Brax on Sova, Hazed on sentinel, and Subroza on Omen.
Tsm is not a top10 team anymore. They went out before the main event of 3/4 Challengers, and went out in upper semis and lower semis of the only one they qualified for
Underrated: Critical, Boaster
Overrated: Ardiis, Steel
