Where did you get the information that EWC ads will interrupt the game? That will genuinely never happen. There might be half time ads and ads when there are tech pauses/timeouts when there are no interviews to do. And honestly nobody cares about that. I immediately go on tiktok the moment I see a single desk person speak, so do all the other normal people. The ads are not gonna affect the viewership in anyway.
Honestly it just sounds like he dislikes EWC with a passion which is understandable but doesn't understand on these type of broadcast they never promote these type of stuff every 10 seconds and probably is just trying to push around his narrative more than see things in how all these broadcast have dealt with sponsors and such
rivalries need to be grown organically bro, pushing bullshit rivalries down our throat makes no sense, that's not a problem of riot managing the scene bad its just how these things work. Plus most rivalries are gonna happen in domestic competition anyway, stuff like 100T vs SEN and FNC vs TL are rivalries bc of regional proximity and regional beef, what reason would an NA team have to beef with a KR team
Masters and Champs is good as a best on best competition but if you want actual passion and rivalries to grow, we need to make the domestic leagues feel more than just qualifier events and make them mean something to the players as more than just a stepping stone to masters. I dont know how they do that, but I just think the riot has fundamentally fumbled the IL system and made it so regional play rarely feels like it matters. IDK what the solution is that wouldn't lose riot money bc my solution is to cut the number of Masters and Champions tourneys to just 2 like how League does it to make regional leagues play more and develop rivalries as there's now fewer opportunities to play in the big stage and international play feel actually special and unique and offer a chance for the different regions to actually cultivate different play styles.
Initial draws have weak/no story line leading upto them, I think they'll gain more popularity in the playoffs.

Why are super teams a problem? If anything it'll make for good underdog story lines if a team who aren't considered a super team finds success in the tournament.
the reason they are the underdogs is bc they have a very low chance compared to others. This year is different. G2 and VIT look way better than any other team, and these 2 teams will keep reaping the benefits and gaining more money to retain this roster until they are the only 2 organizations to stay in the Valorant professional scene.

Yes these superteams will probably come out on top, but I think there is a sort of luck also involved in the knockout format so I am not that pessimistic about there being no underdog stories.
