This match would quite literally end in a draw, they would unironically throw their own game, just like how they're doing now
When they go back, they should start scrimming without Termi
Better yet, nuke the entire coaching staff and find more competent coaches
DRX and "lock in" doesn't exist when they have 1 man (2 other people as well) who decides to make pointless changes when something works for the team
So true, you can tell because Termi doesn't pick the map that they looked good on, changed the sunset comp that brought them to OT against BBL, and didn't call a timeout during the first half of map 1.
Not a degenerate
You have 4700+ posts on this site in under less than a year...
It really is, especially for the main roster (players/coaches) who are trying to adapt to the situation asap.
Even though we know little to nothing about the specifics of Flashback's reasons/problems, I hope he does get it resolves and returns when he is capable, but it is undeniable that he staggered the team's momentum.
Yeah they're acting like players are incapable from stepping down from the starting roster on their own accord. They also can't read for shit.
But this behavior is expected from people that live and breathe on this site.
I agree, if they continue to play like this, losing man-advantages mostly and with Termi making comps that don't make any sense, we'll be lucky if they manage to get 3rd seed for Toronto.
If it's a problem that is out of his control that he genuinely had to take care of, then I understand but if it's similar to last year, this will likely be a big problem for the team.
I would assume he's still on leave UNLESS if whenever he came back, Termi gave him a lecture and told him he won't play this match since Termi seemed frustrated in his interview after the BOOM game.
Flashback has to have a good reason on why he decided to take a leave of absence because there's no way the team is ok with him doing so.
To be fair, if I was either s0m or Ethan I would do the same. I'd rather stay by a close friend and lose than to win anything without them, especially during their last year.
Also, could just be a me thing, but I feel like it isn't TDAWG's business to air out or talk about. I think the only people who should be able to talk about what happened are the players on NRG and Verno/Bonkar.
I'm a fan of NRG but this enitre stage is just fucked for them and I doubt they'll make playoffs, especially with how they're playing.
I hope this isn't a permanent thing. No hate towards Estrella, he played good today but BeYn is just BeYn.
Termi can't let us have anything
If they move BeYn to the academy roster istg bro...
Brought him in, dropped him, brought him back last minute, and potentially demoting him.
Diffed who? Mada just destroyed h0v0c and Furia
Better yet, bro got diffed by all of NRG besides Ethan only by 1 kill LOOOOL
Same, he was literally getting passed around on every role then tried his best to fill in the biggest shoes possible.
They looked better than they did during kickoff which is good progress, slow but a good start. Some of the players still seem shaky playing on different agents outside of their normal agent pool, but collectively as a team they look like potential candidates for that 3rd spot at Toronto.
That just means they're consistently top 5-6th in the world.
Yeah but Flashback on the Neon was very questionable, like he went 0-7 before he started to heat up. It worked out in the end so it's whatever.
I was ready to accept a 13-0 tbh, like this comp just doesn't make sense on paper.
They're just creating more problems...
At this point, just 13-0 already
Who knows tbh, but I think it was best for both parties. I saw someone say in another thread that Verno doesn't have to "that guy" and I agree.
He doesn't need to be a "star player" but needs to be a "support player" and being on MIBR allows him to do that. NRG bringing in brawk allows for the team to have 1 star player instead of 2 clashing against each other.
How tf does Xeppaa turn into Thanos against NRG and then proceeds to play average after?
Definitely a questionable change and sucks to see he played so little matches.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't butt-hurt over DRX's loss against T1, that I will admit, but I am glad T1 were able to win it all.
Considering who they were matched up against in round 1 of Swiss Stage, not too many people really had them making playoffs, and even in playoffs, people had them bombing out. They made a crazy lower-bracket run and won, that's an underdog story.
They've been teammates for so long and it really is unfortunate they never won as VS or DRX, but seeing them win together as teammates again is a win-win for me.
From "VAMOS!!", to kissing his mouse, to now lifting a trophy. He and BuZz got the good ending
Bunch of frauds, they doubted them but they said fuck you and proved them tf wrong. Also, I know TMV is soooooooo mad at T1 winning LOL, stay mad.
Stop being so butt-heart and ignorant, take the loss and move on.
This is why they were the best team in Korea. Now they're the best in the world.
I'm sad they couldn't win under DRX but I'm so happy for them, they truly deserve the win.
I am actively doing this while my hands are shaking
I'd be stressing and completely burnt out.
I feel like it is working because it is somewhat iso-adjacent, so Meteor just aim diffs.
The world doesn't revolve around you bro.
Edit: No way you're complaining about Asia holding 4 events when EMEA has held more than 5.
