if this PRX iteration based on monetizing from 500-pound twitter j0nggg fetishizing whales (they buy 5 jerseys each to cover their belly fat) make bangkok i will leave VLR until they win an international (basically forever)
Buzz isn't a flex and he left for T1. Drx didn't kick him. They couldn't stop him from leaving. And rb isn't the amazing flex player you think he is, he's much much better on the sentinel role than as am initiator. Athan is a rookie, you simply can't compare buzz and rb to him yet. Beyn and Athan are around the same level, but maybe drx felt a change was needed, and getting freeing who can igl over beyn was a good trade.
I can explain how none of them were fumbles. Stax igling simply was not working for the team. He had been doing it for 3 years and he didn't seem to enjoy the role, so they let him go and he's doing great on T1 where he's probably a lot more comfortable being second caller. Rb, contrary to most people's opinions on him now, was the first on the chopping block every time drx flopped. And after 2 years with no roster changes, it was time to change something, and while rb was flexible, he just wasn't consistent enough when it mattered. Well, no one on drx but mako was consistent enough at international tournaments, and drx didn't want to be a 5th place team forever. Foxy9 is simply not a fumble. His time on geng will show that the chances drx gave him were enough. His time had run it's course. Buzz left. He was not dropped. Athan is not bad, he has good aim,but I know he won't frag because beyn was also very good but didn't frag much on the initiator supporting role, and Athan is from the academy roster so I trust that drx knows what they are doing with those players. Now to counter some points: "DRX only did bad in 2023 because of foxy9 practicing in scrims instead of zest" then why was their champions performance the worst of the year? If foxy9 was practicing with the team from the beginning of 2023, why did they keep getting worse and worse? Maybe drx didn't change things up but I think they did after masters 1 tokyo. "DRX are going to flop with rookies": if anyone think this, it's not true at all. Drx only did worse last year due to the repeated changes in the roster and even then they didn't do that badly in champions 2024.
