I remember him leaving/ being kicked off of sentinels bc of some sort of rape/abuse accusations? How legit were they, cuz i see he still gets like 2-3K viewers on twitch.

It's sad that all this happened to him and we lost such a bright and big character, but on the other hand we might not have gotten Tenz if things were different. All pro players are insanely boring now and just sitting on their paychecks, that in valorant, that in cs actually already too, he would certainly perk everyone up with his audacity
Commend makes a good video on the Sinatraa scenario. Basically, she didn't file a police report and all that ever happened was riot games and sentinels doing private investigations. Sinatraa didn't cooperate at all and made the situation worse. He won't join a t1 team because it will likely hurt their brand and the chance for them to get sponsorships.

ofcourse, who would cooperate with a gaming company over allegations of sexual assault
velocity05 [#12]ofcourse, who would cooperate with a gaming company over allegations of sexual assault
to clear his name?
Technically nothing is proven so I think he's free to play if he gets signed. I think he probs did that shit given what the girl released but innocent until proven guilty and all. As for the twitch numbers you could kill a guy in cold blood but if you're skilled/entertaining people will watch and support you
Harapan845 [#14]to clear his name?
you think a gaming company can clear someone’s name over accusations of assault? Wow! wonder what judges train 20 years of their lives for!
yaiima0 [#13]He didn’t cooperate with the investigation which didn’t help his case at all. If he was truly innocent I think he would have tried to clear his name by cooperating. Just my opinion
Yeah but imagine you are gonna be debuting as the star player of a roster in a new game and everything is set but somehow the relationship u were in ends and then u are accused to being a rapist , tell me would u have the mental to co-operate on an investigation about u at that current moment or would it be hard , also he did break down while streaming , rapists hardly do that
Mate he was just alleged and tho there was an audio recording of some sort there fact is it might have been forged as well or it was taken out of context as well cause if her proof was so good and reliable wouldn't u ever want to go to a court or police and get the guy for good cause u know there was no case filed or anything as such and u wouldn't definitely like to see ur assualter regain his fame and trust in the community after some years if that incident had really happened and moreover that girl proceeded a year later to become an OF model (thus no reliability on her) and it was actually rape or something like that then definitely Sinatra couldn't have just paid her to not file anything, looks more of drama and fake allegations bro
moomoomoomeadows [#19]"nothing proven" bro there was audio of him refusing to take a no
Don't u believe that might have been taken out of context like u know couples usually do bullshit kind of roleplaying and stuff u know , it might have been recorded at that time
AltonBu02 [#22]Some may call me ignorant, but I'm genuinely just asking here. If people have proof that someone did something criminal, why don't they just take it to the police instead of trying to make that person face justice on twitter of all places?
Tbh it’s very hard to prove something like that, regardless of it did happen or it didn’t
Mortadelo [#23]Tbh it’s very hard to prove something like that, regardless of it did happen or it didn’t
that's true, I'm just saying regardless, twitter is one of the worst places to do it
Nothing proven, but we did see proof of him being an absolute dick so Ig you can go off of that.
I actually think the main problem here is that he refused to collaborate with the investigation which is just not a good look.
Regardless proving things like this is basically impossible unless you have some type of witness. But we can’t just assume everyone guilty. We kinda need to accept we can never know what actually happened
velocity05 [#17]you think a gaming company can clear someone’s name over accusations of assault? Wow! wonder what judges train 20 years of their lives for!

Why? if someone raped you and you couldn’t prove it but you both know it happened, wouldn’t you want to punish that person somehow?
It’s dangerous af, to believe someone just because, but it’s also natural af to want to bring the person that did that to you down
Imagine the feeling of someone doing that to you and you not being able to prove it ever happened

If we are talking about what I would want personally if I was wronged/SA I would want that person in prison ASAP. And there would be no better way than settling that matter with the police.
But everyone deals with situations like these differently so maybe some people do believe bringing it on twitter is the best way their abuser can get punished. I'm not in any position to judge.

What's bringing it to twitter going to do? There's going to be people taking both sides (especially since Sinatraa is a popular streamer) and all it will do is cause both parties to be harassed. Settling this shit in private is what I would do, but if some people believe that taking the matter to the hell that is twitter is better then that's there choice and I don't think it's wrong, it's just not what I would do. I can imagine it and would still cooperate because that would prove my innocence. With allegations that heavy, especially coming from someone very close to me, I would be very driven to prove my innocence. Everything about the situation would be hard ofc, but that's not an excuse to not cooperate with police after saying "I have the video and it proves I'm innocent" yet he never shows the video (most likely bc his lawyer saw it and said it could actively hurt his case).
As for him breaking down on stream, it is sad to watch bc it does look genuine tbh. But ngl you would still probably break down by being called a rapists by thousands of ppl in chat whether or not you actually were a rapists or not. The ppl chatting that night probably said some horrible fucking shit.
KClaw [#21]Don't u believe that might have been taken out of context like u know couples usually do bullshit kind of roleplaying and stuff u know , it might have been recorded at that time
Did he ever say that was the case? I could be wrong, but I don't think he even publicly addressed the audio recordings outside of a blanket "out of context"-esque statement.
The ball is in his court with the evidence, until he provides some context to them that would make them less bad, occam's razor suggests they're true.

If you can't prove it making it public is the only way to punish your aggressor. And, what is it gonna do? The better question is, what did it do? Look at Sinatra's competitive career, it sure as hell worked
AltonBu02 [#22]Some may call me ignorant, but I'm genuinely just asking here. If people have proof that someone did something criminal, why don't they just take it to the police instead of trying to make that person face justice on twitter of all places?
Non-consensual audio recordings (meaning, she would have had to get his consent before recording) wouldn't be admissible as evidence in court as they violate 2-party consent laws (assuming the incident happened in CA).
This would mean that her entire case would be based off of the text messages, which wouldn't be enough proof to meet the threshold to not have your case dismissed.
Not to mention lawyers in America are expensive af. Twitter is likely your only course for any sort of retribution assuming everything is true.
AltonBu02 [#42]he chose to cooperate with police, not Riot I believe (I wouldn't trust RIot either imo)

He's just saying that if you know for a fact you got raped but you don't have 100% proof that you were how would you get revenge.
Some people would want to take revenge in a physical way, or by damaging their property, or by calling them out for what they are. Realistically if you know you were raped why are people so mad at you for talking about the truth online?
I know there are false accusations, which are fucked, but that doesn't mean you should think all people bringing up allegations are lying unless they have 100% proof.
Mortadelo [#43]If you can't prove it making it public is the only way to punish your aggressor. And, what is it gonna do? The better question is, what did it do? Look at Sinatra's competitive career, it sure as hell worked
Yeah, the one part I can agree on is that it did ruin his Competitive career. Thing is, he didn't get punished by the law at all, still has a sizeable fan base, and is still making money streaming to this day. Not much of a punishment if you ask me, if Sinatraa was a rapist, I would say that he got off scott-free in comparison to the consequences he should of received.
Not to mention the trauma it caused to the person who accused Sinatraa. It didn't work out for either party imo.

Can she not bring the full audio clip or text messages to the police? She had evidence right, a lot of it was posted on twitter.
Never said that all people who make these accusations online are lying. I just said I don't think I would've done the same thing, but I'm NOT judging her for doing so.
Sinatraa is a piece of shit, but we don't know if he's a rapist and there was much more of a chance to convict him (especially with the evidence she posted on twitter) if she at least attempted to cooperate with the police (apparently she didn't even try to file a report).
Mortadelo [#45]no reason not to collaborate with Riot, I think that kinda just sentenced him
Really? With a case as big as this and involving SA, you would work with RIOT? If there was one thing Sinatraa did right in this, it's not choosing to work with Riot over an SA case and only choosing to work with actual law enforcement.

I think she didn't because the evidence she had was not nearly enough to convict someone. Probably asked a lawyer and was told there wasn't much to do

Him breaking down doesn’t necessarily mean he didn’t do it, maybe he’s regretful it happened in the moment doesn’t mean he’s innocent.

The thing is, In return to #57 this is actively how sexual harassment in social situations/work situations starts. Lines such as "oh it's just how he is", "it's his nature", ETC
A prime example of this would be Russel Brand more recently, Both (Jay and Russel) have a severely not serious and even borderline toxic/arrogant way of putting themselves across, the problem is if you make that your brand but it isn't just a brand and it's actually how you are then it makes other people think "oh having these horrendously bad/problematic traits is okay and I should do it too"
Another example is Johnny Depp, He was celebrated as if he was some hero for defeating the "Abuser" Amber Heard and that he was so strong for what he went through, I wanna first say that I agree with the fact he was abused but I also understand circumstances can change how people act.
People choose specific people to be around and if you are consistently around toxic and arrogant people unironically then that shows what type of person u are or will eventually become no matter how good u are now
TL:DR I'm trying to warn about how seemingly harmless behaviour can lead to more serious issues like sexual harassment. It shows how public figures with problematic behaviour can influence others E.G, Andrew Tate. It stresses the importance of considering the impact of our actions on others and encourages empathy and understanding while recognizing individual differences.

there was no case, no trial so therefore we dont know if he was guilty or innocent. All i said with that comment is that from what i read and heard he is one. no but she kept saying she was going to until she gave up at the end. sinatraa and his laywer were obv prepared for that. independent investigations from organizations are unreliable since they might try to cover it up or get rid of you unfairly and even if riot said that they didnt find anything illegal, their words dont matter at all. cant really blame him cuz he did the right thing.
yaiima0 [#13]He didn’t cooperate with the investigation which didn’t help his case at all. If he was truly innocent I think he would have tried to clear his name by cooperating. Just my opinion
cooperating with who? his gf didn't show up in the court

it still remains stupid. He could have easily handed over everything he and his lawyers prepared in case there was an actual trial to riot after his ex gave up. That way Riot was happy and he didn't lose his job. (he would still lose it the year after cuz he sucks but that's that)
MudKiko [#88]nah the girl that acused him does
btw the one who accused sinatraa has of not the drx one
Skoepdoep2 [#92]then you're dumb.
just do both, i'm not saying let Riot decide your sentence but why wouldn't you cooperate enough so they get the same facts as the police? if he is innocent he could easily have done both
braindead take, are you his lawyers? why would he listen to you instead of them

u do not give ur evidence to a third party bro cmon, this aint no cheating allegation but an SA allegation. he listened to his legal team (PROFESSIONALS) and did the smart thing. riot themselves have had issues with sexual harrasement before so going to them seems quite stupid. btw he was one of the best players in NA at the time and had received offers after the incident. he got banned for 6 months and had to do some training at riot and was cleared so he CAN play.
Anyways
he listened to his legal team. Ex didnt want to continue the case and thats it. 2 immature people got into a relationship and fucked it up (dms were insane).

my point is he could have prevented all the shit that happened to him if he just cooperated with Riot after his ex said she wasnt going to continue it. Even if it was just to make Riot happy and make them shut up so he doesnt have to be banned for half a year.
I do think something must be going on right now if he hasnt accepted any offers from teams to go back into pro play. I think he's a dogshit player but that's just my opinion, if he got offers why would he reject them after going through the training that Riot made him go through to be able to play again

wtf are you on about idiot. he's saying Sinatraa's lawyers told him not to work with other investigations
