As the dust settles on the competitive VALORANT scene, one glaring truth remains: the EMEA region stands as a monument to mediocrity and missed opportunities. With lackluster performances and a dearth of notable achievements, EMEA has consistently failed to leave a lasting impression on the global stage. While other regions showcase innovation, strategic depth, and individual skill, EMEA languishes in the shadows, perpetually overshadowed by their more formidable counterparts. From uninspired gameplay to a lack of cohesive teamwork, EMEA's shortcomings are as numerous as they are undeniable. It's time for EMEA to step up their game or risk being forever relegated to the sidelines of VALORANT esports, a cautionary tale of what happens when potential goes unfulfilled.
nah, EU race agenda gets worse and worse each time they lose an event.
at this point just claim that every white person here is European, bc they also crossed the ocean not very long ago. claiming Africans is crazy, when NA is basically all from EMEA land aside from Asian-Americans. just claim the entire west. NA being built on immigration and race diversity doesn't change the fact that you got slapped around last 2 global events
When did anyone say JohnQT is European? He is EMEA, just as you American's like to point out that N4RRATE is NA. But then you get salty when it is the other way around? Lmao... EMEA literally covers the entirety of Europe, Middle East, and Africa. It's not that hard. The fact that people just refer to it as "EU" is because the bulk of the players is from Europe. Doesn't change the fact the region is way larger than that.
And FYI, my favorite team is the current world champs (NA).
never said johnqt is european, that's crazy too bro
talking about the desperate EU fans that claim that everybody is from their valorant region, and willfully expanding that to EMEA to cover more cultures that exist inside America. Worse when it comes from flairs that are a majority white, like sweden.
Reality is that it's just weird being in an immigration-based country like America, and being told that nobody here belongs here.
Everyone in America migrated here including me. I'm saying IF we are getting to this point of desparation, it is better for you to claim our white players because they are actually from EU. One step further is stating that all of the West is technically from EMEA, because they basically are.
Normal EU fans are okay though, obviously.
I certainly have to agree, Indian Asuna Yuuki.
Actually wild to me that people still underrate KC and TH. Coping so hard that NAVI and FNC lost 😹😹
I have no doubt that Boaster took the loss really hard and is gonna make sure its a closer game at least, but damn can we just acknowledge that they're not the undisputed #1 EMEA team anymore
In the shimmering crucible of competitive Valorant, amidst the tumultuous ebb and flow of victory and defeat, there exists an iridescent beacon of unyielding determination - Fnatic. This quintessential amalgamation of virtuosos, helmed by the sage-like guidance of Coach Elmapuddy and the astute acumen of Assistant Coach Mini, comprises a constellation of stars: the indomitable In-Game Leader (IGL) Boaster, whose strategic orchestrations sculpt the battlefield with a masterful finesse; the incandescent duelist Derke, whose lightning reflexes and unwavering resolve strike fear into the hearts of adversaries; the versatile and enigmatic Chronicle, a polymath of the digital realm whose adaptability knows no bounds; the stalwart sentinel Alfajer, whose unwavering vigilance and unyielding defense form an impenetrable bulwark against opposing onslaughts; and the cerebral Initiator Leo, whose keen intellect and precise execution unravel the threads of enemy schemes with surgical precision. Though beset by the tempestuous winds of fate, Fnatic, in their valiant march across the annals of esport history, encountered a tempest that threatened to derail their inexorable ascent. Yet, in the crucible of adversity, forged by the fires of defeat, Fnatic emerged, phoenix-like, from the ashes of their former selves. With steely resolve and an unquenchable thirst for redemption, they honed their skills, fortified their bonds, and embraced the crucible of competition with renewed fervor. Through tireless dedication and unwavering unity, Fnatic transcended the confines of mortal limitation, ascending to the zenith of their potential and reclaiming their rightful place among the pantheon of gaming legends. With hearts aflame and spirits unbound, Fnatic embarked upon a triumphant odyssey, inscribing their names upon the annals of eternity as the paragons of Valorant excellence.
FNC 2-0 TH.
I am sad that TH can´t play with their full Roaster, but it is still the Masters Roaster.
This Game will be pretty close on the Score, but it goes to be a classic 2-0.
FNC underestimate 1 time alr and will dominate EU now!
Edit:
TH played really well, but Fnc on Icebox looked horrible. As longer the match went, the better FNC got and in OT BOO safed them with an Ace. I´m sad we didnt saw a 3rd Map!
But what is FNC doing on Lotus Attack, didn´t they watched their Map against KC, they didnt destroyed any agressiv KJ util and lost the Map bc of this!
Bad argument because any the play-in team for the west could be a play-offs contender in the east. Standings don't show the entire picture because a team could've just had a bad start to the season, but could eventually prove themselves in the late into the season or during the post season. But realistically they could be top 10 currently, if not top 15 because of their recent performance. Hence why it's a braindead take to solely rely on seeding.
fnc had a complete refusal to adapt so we have 2 rookie teams going they were 100% our best teams and we are 100% currently behind na and even pacific but with time we can get back in form lets see if na can finally have more trophies than us or if pacific can get their first win we will see , i doubt an emea team will win next masters but champs will be intresting
I'm actually angry as a longtime FNC supporter. Always defended Boaster because I thought he was only joking, but they play so damn lazy (except Leo). Boaster got destroyed and he keeps laughing as if he doesn't care. He is one of the best earners in VCT Europe and kept mocking Madrid teams and instead of doing everything to show the world that Fnatic still belongs under the best teams, they keep to 2022/2023 comps and playing much worse than last year - they are not even including Yoru or Gekko. I mean Elmapuddys losing-streak is one of the worst of all VCT coaches (incl. his time before Fnatic at GENG), but that can't be an excuse. As an IGL Boaster should be part of creating new comps and motivating his team.
Also - the difference between Fnatic now and Sentinels at their downfall was that Sentinels actually started in an instant to create new ideas, most didn't work in the beginning, but they changed comps, they played around with agents and stuff - TenZ was humble and never mocked any team (no one of Sentinels did). They watched other majors and payed respect. Boaster is just arrogant and keeps smiling - and especially on Lotus you could see that they stopped playing this 101% Valorant which made them so damn good. They don't even peek every corner anymore. Lazy af.
derke is the only weakest link on this roaster. he still living the dream of being the best duelist in the world and
everytime he bot frag he just wanna make stupid plays that will make him frags but it failed everytime. He's just a one trick jett at best. His raze was alright but not even close to a tier 1 level at all.
I say give Fnatic the benefits of the doubt. They still early in the season. They had MAJOR unluck in this game. Losing alot of things due to bad luck or things didn't work fully. They will bounce back but you aren't your best the first week back from a semester. It comes after a month or so. So - I think they will win soon, and just continue that trend.
