Spear 🙏
But he might not be obtainable since he just signed with ef.
Isn't he just a substitute at the moment?
But yeah I agree, the timing of the leak/report is pretty bad.
Although Nbs already had reports linking him to 100t already.
Wow that's a blockbuster move.
It felt like zekken was sentinels' franchise player.
Crazy last couple of rounds gg.
Honestly, Keiko makes a lot of sense and it's actually feasible given NRG's finances.
Reduxx is an option aswell given his past experience with Bonkar.
If Less goes, I could see Vitality try to get Hiro.
Neither of the teams play sunset.
This is going to be such a weird final map.
Channelling his inner c0m.
Crashies is getting builled.
Surely an event this good can't end this anticlimactically.
Termi does not get the respect he deserves.
Fixed their lotus so quickly for this match up.
Some pretty easy slam dunks here, like expanding masters.
Triple elim does slightly worry me, hopefully its just a "weird swiss stage".
I can definitely see that ascension change being a temporary thing as they reveal a deeper integration with tier 2 for 2027+
I also think you have to realise the current ascension model is incredibly flawed.
The tier 2 teams, for the most part, do not have the financial muscle to sustain in tier 1 especially in EMEA.
Relocating to Berlin is very costly, I know riot does help the orgs out but its still a big investment for what was potentially 1 year of VCT.
Not to mention the fact the ascension winners were often picked apart (like Apeks this year).
Considering how rough they looked in split 2.
This was a very good performance for MiBR and a strong platform to build upon for next year.
Hypoc has covid, so its sideshow standing in for him.

Generational defense side from fnatic.
Incredible adjustments on the fly, incredible individuals, incredible team plays.
Boo is averaging 1 defuse, 1 kill and 1 team kill per round
The players wont be leaving for a "payrise", unless G2 are drastically dropping their salaries for next year.
The current g2 salaries have been boosted by the fact G2 practically "bought the players" to get a spot in the Americas.
I still think its likely we see a couple of the players/staff leave, as the team/org will be aiming to win international titles.
A good team and an interesting playstyle.
It's a shame they got put on this side of the bracket.
You could just use the stats tab and filter by the season?

Liquid are looking terrible.
I have no clue what I am even watching, it's bewildering.
Like did kamo's ult just bugged?
Yeah, they've looked solid aim wise and strategically.
Although both RRQ and BLG played a lot worse than how they do regionally.

Great pickup.
Seems like that might also confirm the rumours of bbl going back to a Turkish roster.
That better not be the french enzo on a "2026 prospects" list.
I just can't see it as a good long term decision, especially with partnership contracts up in 2026.
Ideally, long term you would want both GentleMates and Koi in the ecosystem.
The way this all went down makes me think there is a good chance Koi might not be involved in the next partnership cycle.
No, only 8 teams qualify for ascension.
The rest of the tournament will only affect the seeding for the ascension event.
Without anyone coming out and saying what they actually breached, the reasoning could be so arbitrary.
If some of the rumours i've heard over the years have been correct, i would probably say others orgs have probably been in violation of the partnership agreement.
Unless there is some egregious breach of the partnership agreement, I think this sets a bad precedent about how riot views the partnered organisation as dispensable considering there was only 1 year left in the agreement.
Feels like to me, that they dropped Koi because they feared that they would be losing the bigger fish in GentleMates.

Summary:
A meeting was scheduled yesterday with riot, in which they were told that they would be kicked.
He attempted to outline their plans and suggested ways in which they could help skin sales, such as Ibai being more involved with costreaming.
However the decision was final.
Ibai does understand that Koi has been underperforming on the server and in other metrics. Such as poor skin sales.
They've already signed a coach, yaba, in preparation for next year.
Koi had been in transition, due to things behind the scenes, and he finally felt in 2026 this could be their year.
He belives riot were trying to find a reason to kick a team to retain the Gentlemates.
As he understands how important m8 were for emea.
He was self critical and understands that koi would be deemed as the worst peforming team in EMEA vct in most metrics.
However, he feels like riot did not give them enough notice or any warnings.
2025? Sounds like it could be about tejo, although 2022 chamber would work.
The game was meaningless, they had secured 1st seed, and it was close.
I would only consider a rough patch being a period of underperformance that results in failing to make a deep run / qualify for something.
Okay maybe plain sailing was an exaggeration, but they were still able to grind wins and ultimately win emea.
Normally the issues with problematic players will emerge in periods of struggle.
I don't think hes problematic but so far his time in Liquid appears to be pretty plain sailing.
