To be fair none of them really hit their peaks yet. Brehze was great 2018-2020 but definitely not his peak. I think the better words are to see what his peak could be if not better. Still has so much potential. Same goes for Ethan but Ethan quit before any of it could really take off. I do agree though 2021 wasn’t the best for Brehze and EG as a whole.

Of all the players that made the jump from cs:go to valorant, Brehze would be either the best or very easily top 3 of all those players, be it from EU for NA. Last year he was #20 in hltv's ranking of best cs:go players and 2 years ago he was #8. His team has been dying for ages in cs, so it's not necessarily Brehze being subpar lately but mostly the team not finding their groove for a long time now.

Don’t want to sound like it’s all Ethan’s fault but Ethan cucked the team at the beginning of the year when he left for 100T. Imo it was a scummy move on how he did it but Ethan left and after that they still looked good but Ethan was apart of the OG core. They showed potential had some heartbreaking losses and then Tarik stepped down and everything just fell apart there. Seems like they didn’t want to be there. Had great players on the roster but no chemistry no hype. Tarik was like the glue and hypeman of the team. Rest of the year was just awful but they did qualify for the major.

Also Koldamenta is a Sova (the last thing NA lacks are Sova's lol) and I don't think he IGL'd for G2 which is what 100T needs.
I don't think ec1s is the move for 100T and would rather them try and get some of the better T2 talent that can be F/A's (Zander and Cryo?)

LETS FUCKING GO GIVE ME THE BREHZE AND ETHAN DUO. ec1s is a bit questionable considering they could've maybe went for someone like Stanislaw or stewie from CS to IGL(not that they're both gonna switch or anything). I don't hate the ec1s trial cause he's a proven IGL in Val and all that and he isn't horrible individually but I was just hoping for a bit better. I hope he'll surprise me but I'll support no matter what. The only thing is that 100T are probably gonna have 2 "weak points" again. Kinda like steel and HiKo or HiKo and b0i. Not saying HiKo isn't a good player, it's just that he's not incredibly skilled individually. Love how they can keep HiKo on sova/viper though. The big question once again is who is gonna play sentinels when they need it and will Brehze play jett.

You have tons of Players who are trying to proof themselves in Ranked to get a chance yet they sign more and more Players from other Regions. What 100T needs is an established IGL so they can compete right away, so going to other's regions to get an IGL for the next VCT isn't a bad ideia nor it will destroy the region. There's tons of orgs creating academies, and I believe 100T will soon do the same creating, nuturing there the next generation of pros.

i think everyone is missing the real problem with 100T, they dont have someone who plays jett, meaning they use Asuna on it, and hes not a great jett hes a god tier reyna/raze... brehze wasnt an awper in CS, so hes not gonna OP in valorant. And ec1s was iseries fodder..... who was a dead weight in a failing liquid team. Seems like 2 really bad pickups to me, when the org can literally get anyone they want.

Example: Sticker sales of PGL 2021 broke previous records, as per Striker. And previously, sticker sales recorded over 22 million in the last major, 2 years back. This major broke that. And that's just stickers. Skins and souvenirs make more money than stickers. And we didn't even get into sponsorships, viewership contracts, merch sales, brands sponsorship for individual teams and players, huge betting market, etc. 2 million prize money is peanuts compared to that. Similarly for EPL.
