I am in my last year of high school and last year i had a best friend and we both went to watch Oppenheimer in imax and I booked the tickets online and thus used my own money to pay for his (500 Rs) and he said he will return it soon and now fast forward to now , that mf haven't still paid me and the fact is this guy has apparently ghosted me , we didn't have any argument or a fight or anything we were really close and now he's not replying To my calls or msgs , holy shit man, not lending big money to friends again( for ref ,my pocket money is 800Rs monthly )

Kind of But not completely in all honesty, like a lot of times he was operating on his time like he could call me whenever he wants when he had a problem but a lot of times when I had a problem and called him , he gave some pretty bullshit internet replies , and didn't answer on time always ( for eg when I was heartbroken and asked him for advice that mf told me yeah Distract yourself, read books , do things u enjoy like I don't know that)

My advice is to never lend money actually expecting to receive it back. I know it sounds stupid but if you have in mind all the time that you will not get your money back, you will lend less often and when you do lend you wont be disappointed when they dont refund you. Not only that but it will be a pleasant surprise when they actually pay you

I might pay for something for someone but I never do it with the expectation that they'll pay me back

Bro it's a trust thing plus I ain't saying he ghosted because of money but come on atleast return it 😭😭 mate I save money to eventually buy a good pc for gaming never had a good enough one for gaming ( my current laptop basically my brother work laptop has 60 fps normally and then an enemy pops out and it does to 10 fps )

like someone above me said, never lend money expecting to get it back. hell my friend and I don't really like it when either of us return the money back as cash so we just buy the other person food or something like that.
